Musical SAMs Training TE
This is something that I have created to become more familiar with the different SAMs sites available in BMS. The threat guide that comes with BMS would be something to have handy as well. I recommend flying with invulnerability on to have greater time in the air. This is also fun in multiplayer.
From West to East I have placed SAMs in numerical order on the border of North and South Korea. The more East you go the higher the SAMs number is. With an SA-5 and SA-10 in the north.
Pay attention where the alternate field is. I have also included a tanker for extra support or just pure practice. There are no air threats.
For increased difficulty remove the threat circles from your DTC.
The purpose of this mission to to become familiar with the SAMs outside of a mission environment.

What is something you wish you knew before committing to BMS
For me it would have to be understanding that everyone does not have the same baseline of training and standards. This makes it a little harder to fly with players you don’t normally fly with.
To counter that reading publicly available documents help with that baseline training, so that everyone is literally on the same page. I am talking specifically towards brevity terms, tactics, radio etiquette, and proficiency in the F-16. Everyone has their own way to learn and I see the importance of training to make sure every pilot is at the same level ready to move on to the next.
YouTube is your friend and it is the best place to easily find procedures and examples of multiplayer flights. It takes a lot of time and effort to fly in BMS with others especially when they are above your skill level. This is why watching YouTube is important because your lead doesn’t not have the time to teach during a mission and the homework that is taken in the free time will do wonders for future missions.
Tell me what yours is.
Keep flying and everyday try to learn something new. -

The little things. Excited about the NVG FORM LIGHTS. That will be a huge help for us at night.

RE: SA 15 Gauntlet SAM Evasion
@Recluse-0 I have a whole Playlist of SAM Evasion. I need to make another one because 4.36 has some changes to the SAM logic. Over all they wait till you are closer to launch.

AL 2.1.0 was released and I can back to working on the theater. (might need some fix for 2.1.1 though)
KTT 4.36 are kind of 70% status. Guam maybe 30%?
I will public it when Korea became 100% (Guam might be a beta release)(BTW if there are any good AirBase 3D artists can someone create IWOTO for us?)
@Geraki This was the last news. I hope that it is getting closer

Debug Data from Nose Wheel issue
We did a flight with when 4 of 13 had nose wheel issues. I personally had the same issue luckily I was running in debug mode and was able to get some data from it.
Time stamp it hit about 800 times until I exited I believe
[10:28:54.829] 17132 WARNING: Too much fuel for the plane (max 1.0): 176.00Seems like the too much fuel bug might be the issue. Also the nose gear does not collapse is disappears completely. If you need the debug file I can send it if needed.

RE: KTO TS Campaign : J20 appears as F22 (^22) IN RWR. Bug or feature ?
Well 20 is already taken so you’ll just have to know your threats.

@sheref Thank you for this work. I have installed the cockpit retextures with JSGME and it works great. I backed up the Engine folder and copied in the sun reflections. This causes crashes when going into 3D. Also, where do I drop in the canopyscratches.dds file, there doesn’t appear to be one on the vanilla install. Thanks again, these look great! EDIT: I read above and put the canopy reflection in the misctex folder listed above, but I haven’t seen any thing in 3D.

RE: Wingman anti-collision
Usually the number of flashes is in representation of what number you are in the flight.
