Mitsubishi F-1/T-2
-
Hello,
before I leave for business trip, here is some updates :
I did a lot of work today, and Mitsubishi F-1 starts to really look like a F-1 !
I really did it CAD like, so, I really have a super precise modeling, this time
Stay tuned,

@Radium
What does it mean CAD like ? and how can you adjust the shape and the dimension of the reference pics? or which rep pics do you use for? -
@repvez hello, it rmeans that I don’t work in term of polygon primitives modification but with independent parts design and assembly !

@Radium
do you have an accurate blueprints and cross section drawing to do that panel by panel or what is your process?
I know skech up has a different method to make a model than the other polygonal base program, but you need to adjust the lines and vertexes to be a good shape and proper dimension model . -
@repvez don’t worry about me !
-
@Radium yes I know, I don’ worry about you I just try to collect information of different workflow for modelling aircraft.

Hello,
some news here !
This week, I was at Paris International aerospace exhibition for work, so, I didn’t achieved anything on F-1.
However, since yesterday evening, I worked a lot on my bird, to go further.
I had an hard time to make the aft part, and engine nozzles, but we now have something convincing !
Next part will be the tail, and elevators.
Stay tuned !

Hello,
Today was a (real life) trekking day here, so, but I managed to do some updates, yesterday night, and this evening.
Tail is here, and also elevators.
I did a couple of other corrections on the frame, but there is still some stuff that I have to correct.
Stay tuned !

@Radium Do you ever sleep…?
-
@Aragorn Have you ever heard about quantum science ?
Because I am often travelling on BC-304 Daedalus-class battlecruiser in hyperspace (thanks to Asgard hyperdrives), time frame is much faster in my continuum than yours.
This is the reason why you feel I am fast, but in fact, I am slow

@Radium Watch-out for wraith

@parislord I am more scared of Oris…

@Radium We beat the Ori with one lousy bomb!

Hi Radium
I welcome your wonderful activities from Japan. -
(Hello Geek !)
(thank you so much !)
(I love Mitsubishi F-1).
(Mitsubishi F-1 was a sort of elegant version of Jaguar fighter aircraft). (Jaguar was a fighter made for war, Mitsubishi F-1 was a piece of art !)
(After Mitsubishi F-1, I will make the two seats version : Mitsubishi T-2).Best regards,
Radium

Hello everyone !
I am very happy to publish tonight the first impression of the overall aircraft !
There is still much work to do, but I wanted to share this !
Best regards,

Hello everyone !
Today, no update, but a question. Please have a look :
Mitsubishi F-1 has a very specific control surface system.
Like F-14, Jaguar A or Mirage F1, there is no ailerons, but spoilers, on the extrados.
What is specific, is that there is also spoilers… On the Intrados, as depicted on my picture.
While watching videos, they do not seems to move inflight.
They are not used as airbrakes too, because I do not see any movement of theses surfaces when airbrakes are deployed.
My suggestion is that they might me dive brakes… But I have no evidence of it.
I wonder if our community has some idea of the reason of existence of there surfaces ?
Kind regards,
Radium
