Thanks for answering Falcas !! Indeed I have this error message when I tried to open 3 or 4 different mission files on Korea Theater … that was donwloaded TE’s, didn’t try with other theater nor BMS training missions … I’m sad cause I had no pb some weeks ago and I can’t imagine preparing my mission without your fantastic soft dude !!
EDIT : just tried with another mission I had on Israel theater : got exactly the same error window … When I click on continue, WDP just gets freezed … bouhouhouhou !! Me sad
Anyway thanks for answering !! Maybe I miss a dll or something else … hope you’ll have an idea Nobody has the same problem btw ?!
Kalonji
ps : (do you want me to post the integrality of the error message I get in the bottom of the window ?)
Hi,
No, it does not look like you are missing something. It looks like the missions you are trying to open are not correct or corrupted.
Have you tried to open one of the default missions that come with the BMS install? In the mean time, could you send me one of these missions that you have downloaded?

Hi Falcas,
Since latest version of WDP, I seem to have a problem that might be a bug, or finger-trouble on my part…
I ran a TE the other night practicing a popup VIP attack (steerpoint 5), and ever since then whatever mission I fly, whatever theatre, I get the two pyramid markers for OA1/2 etc. related to steerpoint 5. How can I remove the pop-up symbology if I don’t want it?!
P.S. I’ve just checked my callsign.ini file, and it seems the pop-up data has been saved to this, so presumably whatever mission I run, this will get superimposed over it. Is there a way to load up my .ini file in WDP and then delete the pop-up info (e.g. target steerpoint etc.), there doesn’t seem a way of deleting the info that’s there when I load up my callsign.ini.
I’m guessing that the problem arose when I modified my EWS data in WDP and saved it to the .ini file, having forgotten that I’d been using WDP for pop-up and so all that data was there as well?

Hi,
This can be done very quickly.
Start WDP and go to DTC->NavOffsets.
There you can switch off the NavOffsets. Set the selector in the “OFF” position and click on the “None” button. Save your DTC and you are done.Gr Falcas

Thanks Falcas - speedy service as ever!
-
Thanks Falcas for that usefull info BTW I was wondering, is there a way to save the pop-up informations in the mission ini file instead of DTC ini file ?! In that way we could have several pop up setups, one for each mission, instead of setting up a new pop up run each time
If there is a way to do it but I didn’t see it could you please tell me how to do ?! If not do you think it will be do-able ?!
Thanks in advance !!

Hi Kalonji,
This is possible, sort of.
If you save a backup of the datacard, all values of the datacard are stored for later use.
Loading the same mission again, WDP will check if you have a backup and ask you if you want to use this backup.
Doing so, will load the popup values as they where saved.
Don’t forget to save you DTC when you want to use these values.Gr Falcas

Cool !! Thanks a lot Falcas !! Didn’t know that saving the datacard would save the popup values too !! Your soft is such a great tool ! Thanks a lot for all dude

Seems same as Sparks. Although after hitting continue it does not load.
Well if it is the same thing as Sparks, you will get the same answer as Sparks…
Fixed in the next update.Gr Falcas

Hi Falcas - can you clarify something for me?
If I plan a pop-up mission using WDP and “save DTC”, that then saves the info to the mission .ini and callsign .ini files doesn’t it?
If I then select another mission, but don’t use WDP, then it seems that all the VRP symbology still appears unless I go back and open WDP to deselect VRP in the Nav Offsets page.
So if you use WDP for a pop-up mission, to stop the associated symbology appearing in every mission you do, you have to go and deselect it in WDP?
Has this changed? - I don’t recall having this problem with earlier versions.
-
Hi,
The NavOffsets are only saved to your callsign.ini. This is why you will see them no matter what mission you fly.
Yes, you have to switch it off if you don’t want to see them anymore. And this has always been this way.gr Falcas
-
Indeed, if you saved pop up attack on steerpoint 5 in WDP, it will display nav offset near stpt 5 on every mission you fly unless you put it off via WDP (or via the DED IIRC) !!
And thanks again Falcas for that awesome tool !! BTW, I wondered is there a manual that teaches how to use WDP with campaigns ?!Kalonji

Have a look at WeaponDeliveryPlanner.nl, under Movies you will find a couple of tutorials.
And there are the articles that you can find at the download section.Gr Falcas

Cheers Falcas, gonna check this out !

I downloaded the latest version of WDP. I noticed it was a “.rar” file. What is the best program for opening a “.rar” file? I see in Downloads.com that there are a number of free programs.
-
Use this program for *.RAR files:
The program is free and best extraction options.

@Dracfalcon
7Zip or WINRar will do the trick@Falcas
is there any way to set the TE weather through metar?? i am asking you because the weather forcast in wdp is encoded as metar… -
Hello Falcas.
I am still using the WDP and the MC for editing squadron missions where I am.Now I’m editing in the new scenario of israel. (0.96). And both programs give me error. Do not let me see the map.
