An AI F-16 is taking my shelter when I am back from flights.
-
I am enjoying Rolling Fire KTO campaign now.
When I am back to my shelter at RWY PK0 at Seosan airbase from flights, an AI F-16 is taking my shelter.
I thought I was at a wrong place when that happened. But I was at the right place.
Usually, I leave shelter 0 close to 21R and take off from RWY 21R. Landed RWY 21L and return tp RWY 21R shelter 0, RWYD: PK0.
I wonder why this happens. My latest package was 2585. -
@bstar07 Where did ATC tell you to go park when you landed? Not likely the shelter you used at takeoff. It never is for me.

never? I see the shelter location when I enter 3D like RWY D:PK0 . It’s displayed the location EPU status and chock status.
I go back to the location and do not listen to ATC response to my taxi back to the ramp request. -
@bstar07 The ATC tells you where to park when you “Request Taxi back to Ramp”. There is a trick with the parking charts though, that you need the reciprocal one from where you landed. So if you landed at 27L, you should use the parking chart for 09R
-
@bstar07 Ya never have I been directed to same parking spot as I took off from. Thats why its taken. You are going back to the parking spot from ramp start. That is not correct and they give that spot away if they need it because you are supposed to park where taxi back to ramp ATC tells you.

Taxi and point your nose toward him.
When in position, fire off a short burst on your Vulcan. That should have him out of there quick smart.
IF that does NOT work, try a touch and go and then “Rifle”.

I normally try to scare him off by toggeling my canopy. Make yourself appear bigger. Refuel probe also works sometimes….

I will try that if he is still taking my place again when I am back.

Thanks for your response. I thought I am back to where I started.
I will listen to ATC response carefully and follow it when I am back next time. -

Thanks for your response.
I would bear in mind your comment next flight.
I would see if I could find my place without AI after next flight. -
You can’t have the same shelter at landing than take off simply because you are not even in the same airbase branch
For landing you need to take the chart from the opposite runway to get your number

I have a question about how I can find where I am located at airbases having two runways.
I see my location like RWY21: TWY D :PK 19 for Seosan as an example.
Seonsan airbase has two runways RWY21R and RWY21L.
I am not sure PK 19 is which runway parking spot number in this situation.
RWY21R and RYW21L both have PK 19 at the same taxiway D. -
@bstar07 Yeah that is a good question. Parking spot 19 is in two different locations for 21L and 21R. RAMP G for 21R and RAMP C for 21L.
But from the Seosan airport chart it seems that only the 21R spot is by taxiway D. The 21L spot is by taxiway E as I read the chart.
To make sure, you can contact departure agency and have them say which of the two runways is the active for takeoff (right or left). This would then tell you where you have spawned. Use option 3 in this comms menu:

I just complete a mission now.
Your instruction worked perfect. Thanks for sharing your experience and knowledge. -
Thanks for the response. That worked today.

@Icarus
I just completed a mission. I should have listened to ATC response. It leaded me to a different parking spot. Thanks that worked for me.
