Falcon BMS appreciation

I just want to say thank you for the marvelous game that is Falcon BMS. I’ve flown DCS for a little over a year, mostly F/A-18 and A-10, and a little F16 which I immediately fell in love with, but I gave up on it because of lack of content.
That’s why I decided to give Falcon BMS a chance, due to the high praise for the dynamic campaign (Also I once owned Falcon 3.0 and a bunch of other MicroProse simulator games). At first I was a bit dismayed by the cockpit and the terrain graphics. But after having gone through the first training missions, I actually don’t notice it anymore. Yesterday I succeded in a flameout landing practice mission, and that was extremely satisfying.
The documentation is awesome! The flight model is incredible and the radio comms very immersive. I am so in love with this game right now, thank you for providing it!

Welcome to Falcon’s world
It’s under constant development for a long time and for a long time to come
Enjoy it and happy flights
Cheers

Hello and welcome. There is much to learn. If you already have the basics and have free time, I recommend that you fly with experienced people. Then you will see that you advance in your learning much faster.
People always talk about the dynamic campaign. Although the determining factor goes further. For me it’s the user interface that allows you to create flight packages and modify target waypoints and loadout very easily.
In multiplayer. My squadron flies every afternoon and a single mission is done with a good birefing and debriefing. Not the pew pew of dcs and il2 (yes I know that cooperative campaigns are done but it is not the usual).
The most impressive are the communications and of course the most important point that no other simulator could match: the incredible artificial intelligence.

I love the PEW PEW part.

Yes, the weapons loadout thing looks really helpful. I would very much enjoy flying with real people, but I only have a limited time and often need to pause because my kids/wife are calling me so I’m not sure how that would work for me. Then there’s also the question of time zones.

I was in the same situation for other reasons. Fortunately you can enjoy a lot offline.

I’m older and should have more time to fly on line but do not at this time. But this sim you can fly when it fits and still feel like your working with the AI wingmen ,not as good as real people but good enogh .

Hello and welcome! The dynamic campaign truly is a gem - no one would give a programmer as loose of a leash as they did for its designer back in the 1990’s, and the attention to detail will likely never be matched. BMS adds so much, there really is no combat flight simulator for the PC that can match this level of a full war campaign realism!
