@Logic i just use EZ boards with open kneebord since January. Make them to generate two seperate Pages.

Just tell me how you would use the briefing pages in Openkneeboard.
Hi, yes.
Best to use separate pages instead of double ones.
Thanks -
@Nightflyer Hi, are you saying you’re already doing that with two pages? Are you using the commented part of EZBoard code for this? And if so, how did you setup the Openkneeboard tab?
-
Hello.
I´m trying to use right mouse button to change between KNEEBOARD_T.O. BMS1F-16CM-1CL-1 carpets, but mouse cursor is transparent to openkneeboard.
Somebody knows what is the option I need to activate?.
Thx

@Skorp mouse doesn’t work in OpenKneeboard…you need to bind keys.
With openkneeboard you can only use a tablet’s pen (I have wacom Intuous S).
With that one you can also write notes and so on the kneeboard (ex 9 line, or tick checlist stuff). -
@Virus ahh, okay… I ask because I see this video and in seg 45 It seems Micro uses mouse over yellow cards.
-
@Skorp I believe that would be a tablet he’s using. The video states a Huion H640P tablet - which are dirt cheap.
-
@CriticalMass ahhh ok, then he push in the physical tablet .
What a pity, if we can use the mouse (or a blind key) It would be perfect
Thankyou
-
@Skorp You can use a joystick button, keyboard key , etc … to cycle through pages, even switch documents. It just takes a little configuration.
-
@Wheelchock I supposse you said beetween folders and documents inside this folders
Yes, I have configured these, but in this case, if I’m not wrong is to make the same inside a PDF file. That is my question, to navigate inside checklist PDF file, as in the video.
But It seems Openkneeboard doesn’t support that
Regards
-
@Skorp yes you are correct, openkneeboard doesn’t support navigation inside the PDF files. I thought you were just referring to the documents themselves.
-
@Wheelchock Who knows in a near future

Hello.
I´m trying to use Openkneeboard in U3 with Korea theater and no Departure, Altenate and Arrival charts.
In Balkans runs fine.
Any idea?
Thank you

How are you loading the charts into the tabs? It’s not automatic, unless you have set up a folder and drop the charts into.
-
@CriticalMass I´m using WDP Converter 1.0.2

What is that?! Where did you find it?
The BMS Folder: line points to a parent directory, is it smart enough to select the Departure, Altenate and Arrival charts? (I don’t have Balkans installed)
What is your workflow to get the charts into OpenKneeboard?
-
@CriticalMass here is the link
https://forum.falcon-bms.com/topic/24993/openkneeboard-wdp-converter-tool?_=1698748494347
Workflow:
Open WDP
Open cam file
Open flight
Save Datacards
Ejecute WDP Converter.
Ejecute Openkneeboard -
I suppose there have had some changes in Korea charts.
I´ve created a folder called Charts and put in KTO and Balkans charts.
If I try to generate charts form KTO flight, charts folders appears empty but if I generate files from Balkans flight, I have the charts.
-
Well, ejem…
I´m a very stupid man.
There is no Haeju charts in South Korea
Sorry
-
@Logic you can just tell openkneeboard to point to a Folder and so when kneeboards are generated it picks from there (also if those are changed on the fly).
The optimal use of your application would be to generate single pages and not double pages…then setup a tab in OpenKneeboard which points to the directory where those two (at this point) files are being generated.
Thanks
