@Icer I still play it from time to time…
A modern version of it…exactly the same, but with modern graphics and VR support would be my dream.

RE: A behaviour about the Nose Wheel Steering Button on the ground
@Sen7144 Hi on the Viper the NWS is enabled with the Weapons Step button.
The pinky button (labelled NWS on the Warthog and other grips, like the Hornet one) is the fov button in the F-16 (and shift/fov in BMS). -
RE: Winwing stamina over time.
I have winwing orion 1 throttle since november 2021 (so almost 2 years) no problems for now.
I also have a MSFSSB with f16 grip which I bought recently (3 weeks ago) and for now I am really satisfied, but on this I cannot speak on the long run. -
black edge visible when moving head
It is difficult to explain it in english for me, but I will try.
My BMS experience is great, but I have a strange effect when I move my head fast, I see like a black edge at the extreme of the view (left or right depending on where i move my head).
My settings are default (I did not change anything in the config), I have 5800x3d, rtx 3090, Rift S and I use oculus tray tool with 1.3 Pixel density -

@Virus Hi, just to give you options…
If you get the OFMKTO Theater https://www.mediafire.com/file_premium/amo4g9e1fzbzwqw/OFMKTO_1.7.exe/file
Then, you can use this https://www.mediafire.com/file_premium/lnkgxtpqvinnrv3/TR_BMS_14_Maverick.tac_for_OFMKTO_1.7/file
It’s TR 14 but set up as a .tac file., which means you can change jets and/or loadout as you preferThanks…I will consider that.

RE: Quality of life problems in VR
@SemlerPDX said in Quality of life problems in VR:
foxter’s application is far more in-depth than my own profile for VoiceAttack, has a great GUI, and is definitely something you should check out (even if you’re also gonna check out VoiceAttack) - it’s free, and VoiceAttack has a free demo you can try out, too, though you’ll not be able to import profiles such as my AVCS4 BMS until you actually pay for VoiceAttack.
My focus in AVCS4 BMS for VoiceAttack is only on the in-game radio menus and making an immersive voice control layer for more natural interaction with them. I’d be proud if you checked mine out if voice control radios is your primary goal. On that note, JanJan’s plugin for VoiceAttack and Falcon BMS is another option to check out, and includes full cockpit controls & radios, with a nice GUI too.
Whatever you choose, there’s no question that voice control is a seriously amazing technology that can add immersion and quality of life to the BMS experience, as well as standard computer use, too!
Thanks…
my primary focus is to control radios with voice, like I am used to in DCS with Vaicomm pro.
I know your profile is different, but I just need to use radio in VR without using the keyboard too much. -
RE: Well done BMS team and MicroProse
I will surely buy every flight game or sim they will put out.

@foxster thanks so much for your program…
Will the tutorial cover also virtual crew chief integration?
Thanks -
RE: Virtual Crew Chief With Foxvox
@foxster wow…this is huge…really. It will greatly improve the VR experience.
Thanks again

@Logic “easier” not a lot of difference, to be fair.
In the next release, any chance of you extracting the departure time for the holding steerpoint which is in the briefing? E.g the one before push should have a departure time… I use this all the time to hit my push point at exactly the right time without a having to draw sky circles at the holding point.

i modified mine this way (target2 is the folder where openkneeboard reads the briefings):

RE: FoxVox Free voice control software for BMS
@foxster I don’t understand a thing in the new library.
Is not possible to use both crew chief and normal radio?
I see that group commands for atc, flight, awacs etc are disabled in it…
Am I understanding something wrong? (probably) -
Virtual Desktop and Open Kneeboard
Hi,
I am a quest pro user. Usually I run with oculus link, but yesterday I wanted to try Virtual Desktop.
It was very laggy and stuttery. At first I thought it was inferior tecnology (wifi vs cable) but then I tried DCS and it was buttery smooth (with OpenXR and Eye tracking).
After some trials I turned off OpenKneeboard, and then it was buttery smooth again also with BMS and SteamVR (same performance and quality as with the link cable).
So did someone experience the same issue? -

@Virus Frequencies for ATC, Flight etc? They’re right on the datacard.
Thanks…I didn’t think of it.
So only the channels are missing -
RE: [OpenKneeBoard] WDP Converter Tool
@rubbra I don’t see frequencies neither…where are those generated in the WDP’s kneeboards?
