@Sen7144 Hi on the Viper the NWS is enabled with the Weapons Step button.
The pinky button (labelled NWS on the Warthog and other grips, like the Hornet one) is the fov button in the F-16 (and shift/fov in BMS).

I will install your app and try. -
RE: Quality of life problems in VR
@SemlerPDX said in Quality of life problems in VR:
foxter’s application is far more in-depth than my own profile for VoiceAttack, has a great GUI, and is definitely something you should check out (even if you’re also gonna check out VoiceAttack) - it’s free, and VoiceAttack has a free demo you can try out, too, though you’ll not be able to import profiles such as my AVCS4 BMS until you actually pay for VoiceAttack.
My focus in AVCS4 BMS for VoiceAttack is only on the in-game radio menus and making an immersive voice control layer for more natural interaction with them. I’d be proud if you checked mine out if voice control radios is your primary goal. On that note, JanJan’s plugin for VoiceAttack and Falcon BMS is another option to check out, and includes full cockpit controls & radios, with a nice GUI too.
Whatever you choose, there’s no question that voice control is a seriously amazing technology that can add immersion and quality of life to the BMS experience, as well as standard computer use, too!
Thanks…
my primary focus is to control radios with voice, like I am used to in DCS with Vaicomm pro.
I know your profile is different, but I just need to use radio in VR without using the keyboard too much. -
RE: Winwing stamina over time.
I have winwing orion 1 throttle since november 2021 (so almost 2 years) no problems for now.
I also have a MSFSSB with f16 grip which I bought recently (3 weeks ago) and for now I am really satisfied, but on this I cannot speak on the long run. -
black edge visible when moving head
It is difficult to explain it in english for me, but I will try.
My BMS experience is great, but I have a strange effect when I move my head fast, I see like a black edge at the extreme of the view (left or right depending on where i move my head).
My settings are default (I did not change anything in the config), I have 5800x3d, rtx 3090, Rift S and I use oculus tray tool with 1.3 Pixel density -
RE: FoxVox Free voice control software for BMS
@foxster thanks so much for your program…
Will the tutorial cover also virtual crew chief integration?
Thanks -
RE: Cougar TQS with TM HOTAS magnetic base?
@skippermike you can just remove any cougar grip assignment editing the config file or just use the alternative launcher (now default with 4.37) to unbind from cougar and assign to the warthog base.
Anyway i think a force sensing base is superior to a tradiutional one (like the tm one) to simulate a Viper, so maybe you could try to repair the sensors? -
RE: Cougar TQS with TM HOTAS magnetic base?
@skippermike well they started ship directly from the EU last July.
I bought it from the EU Winwing store

RE: U4 Default VR position seems off.
@Dee-Jay said in U4 Default VR position seems off.:
I didn’t though about trying to check if it is the same without VR … would be worth to check it.
Without VR is much different as the scale will always be off depending on how big is the monitor.
Anyway I don’t feel the same issue without VR. -
RE: U4 Default VR position seems off.
@William said in U4 Default VR position seems off.:
With the pilot model on it seems that the default VR position is too far in the back of the seat as the pilot model boots are not touching the rudder pedals. Also it seems I’m a bit too far from the ICP. Is there any way I can move forward in VR position and save it on a .cfg file? I don’t see any option in the manuals for this.
For me it was wroing in U3 also.
I reported here asking for a way to modify the default center position here https://forum.falcon-bms.com/topic/27289/change-default-vr-center-position/10unfortunately it seems there is not a way, and it is not the IPD (world scale) but that the default center is too back in the pit, infact if I look at the sides/back I am basically melded into the seat backrest and not forward of it

RE: FoxVox Free voice control software for BMS
@foxster
copy, anyway I installed 3 SR packs (us, gb and ita) but foxvox says no Language packs installed. Also unfortunately, the issue with the axis and buttons from my joystick is still there (yellow triangle),
rudder and throttle inputs (winwing orion rudder and virpil throttle) are detected without issues. -

@Virus I just posted a new library update for the new BMS 4.37.4 update. The new library file is available here along with information about changes, setup, etc.
https://foxster.itch.io/foxvox-libraries/devlog/745960/foxvox-falcon-bms-libary-v4374-v1-update
Thanks, I’ll update as soon as I’ll touch my PC.
About the speech engine, does the new one uses internet or ai to recognize voice?or it is just an evolution of the old one? -
RE: FoxVox Free voice control software for BMS
@foxster said in FoxVox Free voice control software for BMS:
@Virus I just released version 2.7. Please update and let me know if you still have the issue. It could be an issue with syncing between the FoxVox Parser plugin and BMS, or it may be fixed with the update. If after the update it still doesn’t see the device, I’ll address it with you. Thanks!
Copy, I’ll try and let you know.
Is the profile still the same? -
RE: Weapon Delivery Planner released
@janjan said in Weapon Delivery Planner released:
@Virus I already did some RE on teh code a while ago to read BMS data to be used in my plugin.
I guess it is doable. The question is, is it worth it?
Will it be easy to adjust to 4.38?It is worth in my opinion as WDP is an important piece in the workflow on many serious simmers here. Also, RE here is way easier than on a normal executable, being .NET completely readable (WDP seems also not obfuscated to me).
Easy to adjust to 4.38 is a question for BMS devs…I had some talk with them as I offered my experience (as beta tester for other flight sims) and my help as an IT guy for the DB migration, but for now it is not possible…I hope they will contact people like you and other guys who develop tools and app for BMS and give some head’up on what will change and what will be needed to adjust your “products” for 4.38.
On my end, I am still willing to help but I don’t want to waste time on unuseful things (maybe they are already doing something similar) or without help in understanding what’s going on under the hood. -
RE: Weapon Delivery Planner released
@NIL said in Weapon Delivery Planner released:
@janjan I have no issues or problems using it!
there is however some issue.
Some training missions give an error while loaded in WDP.
Falcas apparently is not part of the BMS team anymore and repordetly refused to give access to the source code…
Anyway IIRC WDP is coded in VB…so… https://github.com/dnSpy/dnSpy -
RE: FoxVox Free voice control software for BMS
Hi,
I have this error about the joystick (for crew chief interaction)Every other devices are correctly detected (winwing rudder, virpil throttle).
The stick is a VPForce Rhino FFB base + virpil alpha grip, and it is connected and correctly working in BMS. -

oculus link seems not support openxr
I use virtual desktop + opencompoiste before to use openxr in DCS
you need select vdxr in virtual desktop, and set open composite runtime in open composite
i will try laterNo no and no…
very false.
Quest Link supports OpenXR as any other vendor.
OpenXR with Link orks pretty well with DCS, MS Flight simulator and so on.
Anyway I receive the same error, but pressing ok, the flight will load. -
RE: Change default VR center position
@Atlas said in Change default VR center position:
@Virus
I’m curious, what headset are you using?
I believe there may be a way to change the eye position but this is for monitors only and IIRC the value is ignored for any headtracking so may be the same issue for VR.I am using a Quest Pro, but I tried also with other headsets and that’s basically the same.
Till now I used the described technique but now I don’t have a seat with wheels anymore as I am using a simpit so I am limited In what i can do…and also sometime I need to recenter in flight and so doing that “manouver” is not so handy.
