Solved Error after updating Alt Launcehr
-
Hey everyone. I got an error after updating the Alt Launcher. The “Flight Arrow” in the key file was the culprit. I fixed it by adding the quote for the command. This is what caused the issue I had:
FlightArrow -1 0 0XFFFFFFFF 0 0 0 1 "FLIGHT
Corrected it to:
FlightArrow -1 0 0XFFFFFFFF 0 0 0 1 “FLIGHT: Go Arrow”This resolved the issue for me.

@Gunz_ProSkies cool – if this happens again, consult
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Benchmark_Sims\Launcher_Log.txt
which should list any malformed lines it finds in the key file… -
@Jumpstart5179 Sorry but the key files are ok in the base folder…
Are you sure you did not edit stuff manually? -
@MaxWaldorf I did a copy of the folder once it was extracted
-
I have the same error, which key file did you edit?

@Dukera Auto

FWIW, I had the same error, and I fixed it by removing the offending line from BMS Auto.key
-
For me it was “Flight” Say Fuel" the “Say Fuel” was missing. So there must be some random truncating of what was the last line of that section in the code?

@airtex2019 I let you take over buddy

I encountered the same error message. The steps I took that resolved the issue was (1) using @MaxWaldorf post Alternative launcher for 4.37.3 to update my launcher. However, I still received the same error after this step. I then (2) opened the “BMS - Full.key” and copied the line from FlightArrow -1 0 0XFFFFFFFF 0 0 0 1 “FLIGHT: Go Arrowhead” and all the text until the end of the file. I then paste that content into “BMS - Auto.key” to replace the “FlightArrow” line in my “BMS - Auto.key” file which I found was incomplete and was where the error message was referring. After saving the updated “BMS - Auto.key” file and then running the AL again, it worked. Hope that helps anyone who has the same issue.

@airtex2019 This is how I found out what my issue was and fixed it.
