Terrain Draw or lod distance in 4.3.7.3 in VR
-
Hello, in 4.37.3 it seems to me as if the ground textures are rendered at a distance that is too short. This makes them very matchy and at a clearly visible distance of about 10-15 miles. How can I increase this distance? I don’t know what to call it the LOD distance for the terrain maybe
-
This is how it looks. Btw there is no difference in 2D or VR
-
@Nightflyer It could be how BMS renders overcast low cloud ceiling at a distance. I’ve encountered this in U2 before. What if you force the weather to be sunny?

I dont meant the far distance just zoom in the area near my hud. The ground looks muddy square like. Really bad. I cant remember it looked ever this bad.
The ground richtet below me looks ok. So its render distance i think -
@Nightflyer what is your anisotropic filtering set to?

Total New installation has no Effekt:(

@Nightflyer I remember having the same effect a while back when I had anisotropic filtering set on Nvidia drivers and had it disabled on BMS config file.
Make sure that AF is set on application control on your GPU drivers and x16 on BMS config file, see if that helps.g_nAnisotropicValue = 0 by default for Max value.

I do have the same effect on my U3. U2 was great, now its totally blurry like on your pictures.
Let me know if your tinkering with AF is effecting something, I cannot test it over the weekend unfortunately.
