HMCS Calibration

Calibration of the HMCS, no problem with the Coarse on ground during the Rampstart
)
Once in flight the calibration does’t work as you can see on this small Vidéothanks for your Help

Mate, in video you’re trying to do both calibrations with only ROLL selected.
Nevermind is not centered … use it only for roll , so you have same ANGLE as hud cross does.
Use AZ for centering with hud cross.Btw, best practice is , even in flight , if you have big difference.
Use COARSE first , then AZ , then ROLL if needed. So , 1 2 3. easy. -
@coyotte From -34 pg252 chapter 2.5.2.2 HMCS fine alignment : “The system can buffer small movements, but in principle during fine alignment the position and orientation of the HMCS must be maintained”.
Basically it means when you begin any of the fine alignment modes, keep your head still and proceed with your alignment with the cursors.
What I do is before initializing the alignment I simply look forward like I’m looking through the HUD.I experienced the same problem that you show on your video when I was looking down to press 0 to mode select the fine alignment and then looking up at the screen to align the cursor.
