Solved keymaping on ai comms?

hello everyone!
i just wondering is there any way to use my dx buttons to open the ai comms? (using logitech G940 and Quest 3 VR)
because when in VR i have to take off my VR headset press T for example and then make the communications
when i try to keymap this buttons the are shown green and with douple click nothing happensthank you!

Yes, you can do this. I have a DX button mapped ICP and the QWERTY equivalent callbacks are mapped to the DX shifted layer with direct callback mappings so I don’t have to use any keys to open and exercise the comms menus. This makes the master mode buttons along the top my menu opening controls. Note that there are a couple of uncommon callbacks to help make this work – for the switching of page to page, there are page next and page prev callbacks so you use those instead of invoking the Q equivalent button many times to move from page to page (I map these to the up/down ICP rocker shift layer). There are direct callbacks for the digits too (so I have those mapped to the number pad on the ICP).
For my ICP device it looks like this:

@whitedeath tools like Joy2Key and AutoHotkey can do this
but I think most people are opting for voice command software… FoxVox or VoiceAttack etc

@whitedeath If you are unable to get these buttons mapped through the integrated Alternative Launcher in BMS, you can manually edit the keyfile you are using to add these DX buttons as callbacks for whatever action you want.

I develop freeware & donationware advanced voice control systems for VoiceAttack, which is a $10 (USD) program that allows users such as myself to create fully featured profiles that can be shared and imported into VoiceAttack by other users.
In addition to my own AVCS4 BMS Radio Menus profile (my systems only cover the radio menus), you can find a great full-control BMS Plugin for VoiceAttack by JanJan, and also the amazing FoxVox application by Foxter (a freeware program). @whitedeath Hi, WD. I second what Airtex and Semler wrote about Voice Attack. In fact, Semler has made a U3 profile that is very comprehensive. Plus, it’s easy to make new commands. For example, I like the term “Bogey Dope” for “nearest air threat”. So, you go into VA,click New Command, type in what you want to say, then in the main window enter Q then 2. (if memory serves) . Then do the applies and saves and Viola. . Another example- in the F-18 VA “pulls the EPU pin” when I flip my HOTAS APU switch. So, you can make non-verbal commands, too
In U3 I went into 3D and used my cellphone to take pictures of the comm menus.
One “trick” to remember with VA is sometimes VA’s voice recog. has problems. For example, I had problems with “Roger Ball”. The trick is to but something VA can recognize in “when I say”. For this example, for me “Roger Bowl” looks weird but works -
If it helps, I assembled all the radio menus in an infographic for my AVCS4 BMS Radio Menus profile for VoiceAttack - it contains notes specific to my systems, but can be ignored if just wanting a single graphical reference for all possible radio menu pages:

i will first try the joytokey app because i have already problem with my G940
its not reccognize all of its buttons so i hope with the joy to key i will make everything work
then i will try also the voice attack looks geat! thank you very much for your responses! -
@whitedeath Just FYI, FoxVox surpasses all of JoyToKey’s functionality, even without the voice control, and it’s free to use. You can do direct key mapping and not use any of the voice control. Feel free to use whichever you prefer, but I personally would pass on JoyToKey in favor of it (though I’m biased ). For voice control, VoiceAttack with Semler’s AVCS4 is excellent - user preference should decide that.
