Warthog cursortoo sensitive
-
How do you make the Warthog cursor less sensitive. Just touching it moves it way off the target and because it is so sensitive I can’t get it back over the target. I have tried the Deadzone and Saturation adjustments on the advanced options but they do nothing as far as I can tell. Please help.

InTarget.
SCX & SCY Axis I use -1 for “zoom”, 1 for “curve” and a Dead Zone of at least10.

Deadzone and saturation just give flat spots in the middle and extremes of the axis motion. Image showing the concept: https://msdn.microsoft.com/dynimg/IC75084.gif In fact every flat segment requires the non-flat segments to be steeper parts of the graph to compensate.
Curves are a similar concept where the slope of the graph varies to give less sensitivity in one area and more sensitivity in another.
The two avenues of approach are to adjust the output behavior via TARGET GUI or script or adjust what Falcon does with the input behavior. For target the “SetSCurve” command provides suitable control over the output. In Falcon there is a cursor speed multiplier which can be adjusted accessed through the launcher>configuration.

I found where to change the cursor speed, Off to do some testing, Thanks everyone and Frederf

I have the configuration setting turned down all of the way but the cursor is still way too fast to be usable. Does the F-16 TGP have a cursor speed setting? Does anyone else have this problem with their cursor? The speed is okay in the FCR it is the TGP that I am having the issue.

Are you sure its the cursor sensitivity that is at fault?
Are you certain that it isnt say a case of the SOI being on a different sensor, and the TGP pointing to the SPI, while the SPI is being slewed full speed in say the HUD or FCR? Is the TGP tracking while you are trying to slew it?
-
Blu3Wolf I am sure that the TGP is the SOI and has the SPI on screen. I have the configuration setting to it’s lowest setting with no change in its movement. I have noticed that it slews down and left and right but it does not slew up very well at all. I also have the settings in the game advanced settings to none. Thanks for trying to help.

Do the axes move correctly in the setup controllers screen?
-
Both the X and Y axis move as they are supposed to in the setup, controller, advanced settings screen. It even moves correctly in the FCR screen it is only the TGP screen that it moves so quickly. For instance I barely have to touch the button and SPI moves tens of yards off of the target.

Well, you should be able to move the cursors a little to get a little movement. Normally before the TGP is tracking it is very sensitive, and after it is tracking it becomes much less so.

Try going into an area track first with TMS right and see if it slews more accurately.
Like Blu says, when not in any track yet it is sensitive and not nice to slew. This is realistic.
