Keyfile and pokeys
-
@Atlas hi dear and happy new year. so I have tried to set the press button and switches of test panel like as keypress.
yes, I have tried use both functions digital input and trigger input, but in each of this case every time I relase the button or the switch it doesn’t release on bus and remains ‘hold’.
now, I don’t know if I bad remember, but in my old pit - bms 4.34- I had not this issues using the switches and the button like trigger input.
moreover, I have seen all keyfile, but I can’t able to find the ‘release’ callback in all file. thanks -
@Maverick996 not all callback have a “release” option.
Let’s narrow this down – give me 1) the key file you’re using, 2) a callback you want to map, 3) a picture of how you set up your PoKeys, 4) what physical switch or button you’re mapping to.

@Atlas
Hi dear, after two weeks i have come home ahah.
So i have ever the same problem: i have set the button as a digital input on the board, but when i relase it don’t work, it can activste the button, but when i relase it, stays ever on. this is my pokeys setup for the ‘hold button’And This is the panel

@Maverick996 – is there any reason you’re not using it as DX input? Each PoKeys 57U board can do 32 DX inputs which may be easier especially for those “hold” functions. That test panel is mapped as DX in my setup and I tend to do this for “hold” functions like the MPO switch later on.

@Atlas
So the priblem is it? Thank you vero much, tomorrow i will try, but i have an other question, how can i set a pin ad DX ? Thanks again -
@Atlas Been over 7 years since I did a build myself but IIRC, when you use DX you’re limited to 32. When you use a matrix with keystrokes assigned, you can add way more inputs on one board.
-
@Focaldesign I’m way too beginner for matrix; I’d rather just pay for another board. Plus the other inputs I map to key presses, so still useful. DX is just easier.
@Maverick996 see below.
Button is how it shows up in DX, so Button 1 is DX1. Pin is what pin it is on your PoKeys board, so you can have pin 40 assigned to button 1 for example.

It works Thanks very much for your help
