We’re very glad you are enjoying it. Nordic is always a favorite. We’ve had 70 downloads in less then 2 days!

Hello
I’m excited. Nordic is and remains my favorite among the theaters.
I also see many well-known names represented here and at this theater
Whether Luke777 with his “Polar Theater” or JanHas with his Hires
models or metalhead with the F-22. Everyone who worked here and programmed this theater so excellently.
But now I have a question about the F22. When I fight against the SU57
This has the jammer active all the time, so I can’t have a BVR fight.
Apparently there is a small bug in there. I then have to avoid the Su57’s missiles until I can get into the dogfight and then fight them. I then checked in the editor to see that the SU57 has stealth mode active. But not the F22. “Burning out” with the radar doesn’t work either. I then tried different radars on the F22, but without success. Can someone tell me which radar I have to select on the F22 in order to be able to switch on the SU57 and how do I activate stealth mode?
Because I am a big fan of the F22 and have also invested a lot of time on my Helios
In order to finally fly the 5th Gen fighters in BMS with a functioning cockpit, I would be very happy about help. Here I would also like to say thanks to the people who implemented the EF2000, F35 etc. so well. Finally a theater that has made the leap into a new age. In mid-January I would like to start a project in our squadron that will form the basis for great missions in this theater.
So I would be very happy about support and help with my problem.Thank you.
greeting
Hunter

@Hunter-0 The bug was found by @Mav-jp yesterday. You can read more about it here:
https://forum.falcon-bms.com/topic/26319/jammer-questions-can-t-lock-a-jamming-aircraft-until-10-nm/39
Long story short, you can’t burnthrough a jammer if you are head on before 10 NM.I’don’t know for your F-22 questions.

Hi
Thanks, I just read the report.
That’s just annoying. The enemy (AI) is far too strong in my opinion. You notice it everywhere. Whether A-A Combat or A-G Strike.
Somehow the entire AI is so superior that sometimes you want to throw in the towel…Thanks again for the info.

@Hunter-0 That’s just a bug… It happens… When it’ll be fixed we will get back at destroying theim don’t worry
-
@Hunter-0 Hi, Hunter. We have noticed that, too, and not just in Nordic. AI stealth aircraft seem “jammer happy” . My personal “workaround” in in the Dogfight module is simply to turn the ECM off in 2D. It makes for interesting engagements , especially in Match Play.
You have F-22’s, F-35C, and F-22 as “adversary” choices.
Dogfight is it’s own little world, in terms of development, but in the future we hope to include more jets. The 57 would be high on that list -
Good Day, All.
We invite you to check out today’s post in the OFM Journal thread
https://forum.falcon-bms.com/topic/19270/bms-other-fighters-mafia-bmsofm-journal/898
In it we introduce you to the OFM Universal Updater. I mention it here as there is a Nordic-specific Updater including campaign changes -
Great theater, thank you all!
Does F-16-42 (and-52) have different cockpit than Baltic theater has?
At least for me the HSI is not so well readable here so I was wondering if installing a new cockpit helps or is my installation somehow corrupted… -

I haven’t had a chance to get the new Baltic in my own collection, so I can’t advise what 'pit is there. You can go to x./BMS 4.37/data/Add-On Baltic/Art/ckptart/ your jets folder and compare the 3dckpt.dat file’s cockpitmodel value Nordic’s and/or with a theater you like’s version.
There is a procedure to put another pit in https://www.mediafire.com/file_premium/5qjvs9l5y9p9c1y/BMS_Fighters_Manual_%25282%2529.pdf/file
Section VII has the procedure for the Viper pit. This was written in the 4.35-era, but it still works -
@drtbkj I am sorry, last section in your document was VI ? Something wrong with the file?

Hi, Killroy. Yes, the last section /last page of the Manual. I I just downloaded it off the link in the above post, it’s good.
But, let me save you some downloading, here is the section…
“You can use a similar procedure to put the Viper pit in another jet…
Step 1) Go to the x>Falcon BMS>data>your theater(if not the KTO)> art>ckptart>your jet’s folder>3dckpit.dat file and
find the value for wing model. It will look like-cockpitwingsmodel 1196;. Write down the number.
Step 2) Now go to the same file, but for the jet with the cockpit you want to have. I’ve found the F-16CM-50
is a good one. Copy both the 3dckpt.dat and 3dbutton.dat. files
Step 3) Replace those files in your jet’s ckptart folder with the ones you just copied.
Step 4) Go into your “new” 3dckpit.dat and change the wing model value to the one you got in Step 1.
Step 5) X out of the folder, and you’re good to go.”
Note: I know this works in current OFM Theaters, but have not tested recently in KTO. So, as usual we recommend you back up the dat files, first. -
@drtbkj Thanks!

Never dealt with the 21. Are there other variants included where the problem is not present? Or are these the only 21s included?
-
@Scorpion82 It’s only the East German and Fin variant.

Okay. Can take a look at it.
-
…I stumbled on the solution. Edit the parent.dat file , switches and dofs to 99. Looks good now!
-
thanks for the feedback. Had just started to have a look at it.
-
@Scorpion82 I’am a cold war guy, that’s way i found out about the migs. Also the Victor tanker does not work with the victor.dat file. Falcon crashed. It has something to do that this file is pre bms 3.37.3 I use now the KC10.dat file, edit it for the Victor. Falcon works but i have some problem with the ref basket…
Refueling works, but I have to move the beginning of the tube of the basket. I did not find the place where to edit this.
No big issue of course, …
-
not sure about the Victor. You may give the AAR data in the victor.dat a try.
These are the data from the KC-130. Maybe the Basket parent numbers already do the trick. If not, I fear it needs to be directly fixed in the model.
