Solved F 16 Cockpit
-
Hello!
After a complete reinstallation (Full Setup), I have a problem with displaying the F16 cockpit.
Only the upper half is displayed. The previous control via mouse wheel no longer works.
What did i do wrong?
Do I have to change the settings.
Is the error to be found in the Windows settings? Please send short solutions to me.
Thanks!
Best wishes

Hello and thank you for the great help with my problem.
After checking all entries, uninstalling the free head tracker, switching off the pilot, everything works normally again.
Thank you for the time you spent solving this problem of mine.
Best regards

@01mulle80 Can you get a screenshot?
Did you check your controls are assigned/working in the Setup tab?

Hello and thank you for this quick information.
I am very surprised at this speed.
The cockpit view when calling the ramp start.
The visible border is the lower edge of the two MFDs, all other side consoles and displays are hidden.
Nothing more can be seen so far. How, where and what do I have to enter to display everything?
How can I send a screenshot?
A short description would be helpful. Thanks again for your answer!
Sincerely

Nothing more can be seen so far.As far as I undestand you have the BMS in mode windowed borderless
Since you can not enter to the setup in BMS while running, try to press:
ALT - Return (or intro)

@01mulle80 First, for a screenshot, press the print screen button. The picture will be stored in User\Pictures folder. Second, what you are seeing is the default view of the pit in BMS. If you hold the Left Mouse button, you should be able to “lower” your head to see the MFDs. You may also tinker with the FOV in the config file to sit further back from the dash.

Hello BMS pilots!
Unfortunately sending a screenshot didn’t work.
I got the message: You don’t have enough privileges for this action. So far I have tried to set the display of the cockpit so that settings can be made on the various panels.
This doesn’t work because the display of the cockpit is only limited to the bottom edge of the MFT’s. Settings are not possible.
Scrolling with the mouse wheel was unsuccessful.
Please give me hints so that I,
a. can send a screenshot (file type?)
b. can play the BMS F 16, as was previously possible. Thanks for all suggested solutions.

@01mulle80 As much as it would be a pain, I would re-download and re-install BMS 4.37 from scratch and see if that solves the issue.

@01mulle80 Video or picture taken from a phone perhaps?
-
@01mulle80 from a PC, you would simply drag and drop the pic into the text window. I believe there is a 4mb size limit for them. Use something like irfanview to save them as jpegs and this will cure the file size

@01mulle80 just use https://imgur.com/upload
and paste a link here for us to see what you see

“Snipping Tool” comes with Windows, use that to take a snapshot of the original screen shot if the file size is too large for this forum.

Hello and thank you again for the suggestions to solve my problem.
(Am I the only one with this problem?)
The actions I have taken.
a. Uninstalled the program twice
b. Registry cleaned (if possible, with CC Cleaner Prof)
c. Reinstalled twice
d. No change visible
I do not know how to continue.
Is it possible to get a better result by reinstalling 4.36 and then 4.37 installed?Maybe there are other solutions.
I’m curious.Harry505

@01mulle80
First screenshot looks like an issue with the screen ratio as the cockpit and MFDs look too “tall”. Second screenshot looks like the camera is clipping the pilot model, but no issue on the screen ratio. Try disabling the pilot model? -
@01mulle80 What are you using to control your view in the cockpit? Most people use a head tracking device such as TrackIR or perhaps VR headsets to control their view of the cockpit controls. By default you should at the very least be able to look around the pit using your mouse - right click the screen and drag down for a view like below. Press 3 on your keyboard to return to the default view. Without more information from you its impossible to help you with anything more. Are you using a HOTAS? Can you map the view controls? Are the pilot legs obscuring your view? Have you tried using the basic keyboard short cuts they are in the keyboard layout document - BMS Keyboard Layout (US Int).pdf - found in your Docs folder, e.g.
D:\Falcon BMS 4.37\Docs\01 Input Devices\01 Keyboard Layouts\Full. You need to provide more information than you are. -
