F-16 BLOCK 30 COCKPIT
-
Hi guys.
I have found in the Docs folder (C:\Falcon BMS 4.37\Docs\02 Aircraft Manuals & Checklists\01 F-16\F-16 Cockpit Layouts). Is there any possible way to use (f16c_b30_gr.tif) as a 3d cockpit?
Thanks! -
@Andreas_D Are you asking if you can put the tif layout file in the koreaobj folder??? Or do you just want to fly a Greek jet?
-
@Icarus i think he is trying to use that cockpit layout in a Block 30 F16
-
@VDK Oh, then he just needs to find the Greek block 30 jet cockpit dds and rename them to the block 30 cockpit dds number he wants to change. But that would mean he is flying a Greek b30 cockpit in a b30 jet thats not a Greek jet, which would be weird. If he wants to fly that layout all he needs to do is fly a Greek block 30, I think, but not sure there is one. I couldn’t find one even in EML, so maybe SOOL.

hi
bms haven’t greece F-16C blk30 3D cockpit model,only have F-16C blk50 3D cockpit model.
if you want change fighter cockpit
open C:\Falcon BMS 4.37\Docs\04 Other Documentation\Database\Cockpit_parents.xls
found cockpitmodel and cockpitmodel2 items.then open C:\Falcon BMS 4.37\Data\Art\CkptArt folder,
select you want fighter folder and use notepad softwere open file “3dCkpit.dat.”
found this line “// the LOD models to use.”
you can see
cockpitmodel xxxx;
cockpitmodel2 xxxx;change number and save

I want to use that cockpit layout in any F-16. I am just asking if that is possible since I have not found a Greek F-16 Block 30 ( except in EMF but it has the cockpit of Block50).
The .tif I mentioned is the real cockpit of block 30 and it is in very high resolution. So since it is in BMS Docs I wonder if it can be used as a 3d cockpit. -
@kouzi So the f16c_b30_gr.tif in Cockpit Layouts folder is just for informative reasons and not for use in BMS as 3d cockpit right?
-
@Andreas_D The tifs are just for information images. If there were files to use, there would be .dds files to be placed in the Koreaobj folder and probably a new numbered folder to be put in the models folder. As well as changes in cockpit dat files.

@Icarus okay I see… thank you!
