You can used our OFFLINE installer if you want.

Im saw this in the other thread but got an error, and my install started to crash on startup. Just tried again and got the same error, and my install is crashing again, only does this after I attempt to use your U1:
Am I correct to assume I’m supposed to run each one in sequence, starting with U1?@MaxWaldorf said in Web Downloader and Updater both not working:

Same problem, Chrome detects it as a virus and blocks it.

@Nevan-Nedall GOT IT!!! You have to disable Windows real time protection, then the updater is fine and now I have build 1358 installed!!!
-
@Nevan-Nedall This is NOT the latest installer…
Please try again the new downloader and check if that works…
PS: For those worried about malware, here is a scan:
VirusTotal Scan result -
@MaxWaldorf got it, thanks for your help!

That part was specifically in response to Viper-0.

I have submitted the file to Microsoft for exception process…
Hopefully new definitions will be updated soon to allow it

This is with real-time protection turned off btw.
Calm down, Windows.@alfagolf Yeah, IDK why I forgot about turning off real time protection.
@MaxWaldorf Download worked fine so far, I’ll let you know if I have trouble with the updater but so far so good.
Do you happen to know what exactly ISPs are doing that could cause this?

As a last resort…
Open Powershell and type (replace the Downloads with whatever your download folder is called):
cd .\Downloads Invoke-WebRequest "https://cdn.falcon-bms.com/Downloader/Falcon_BMS_Downloader.zip" -OutFile .\Falcon_BMS_Download.zip
Should at least bypass chrome sh$t…
Sigh… Thank you Google and Microsoft for making our small developer’s life miserable!

Tell me what I could correct?
If it is because of the updater link file, it may not be the latest version, but for the purpose of updating the HF (hot fix), an internet connection is not necessary, it must even be disconnected for the updater to search for the updates folder and update from there without having to search the network.
As I always say, nothing I publish is certified by the FALCON BMS development team and I myself would not recommend using it but as brute force and if there is no other option then I reach out with unorthodox solutions.
