well I m still on windows 10 so i dont really can give u a advise
but try to exclude the both software form mcafee
should the Gearhandl also be lit when the 3 greens are lit ?
-
@Echo My gear handle lights only when gear is on its way out or in. So when all tree are green, light in gear handle dissa pears.
-
should the Gearhandl also be lit when the 3 greens are lit ?
No. The gear handle is a warning indicator. It is lit when the gear is travelling. If you have three green lights, the handle should not be lit. It should follow the sim exactly. Let me know if it doesn’t.

The target exe keeps shutting down on me after a couple of seconds. I had it staying up, but now it keeps shutting down, regardless of if target or bms are running nor not, so I can’t even send you a screen shot right now.Any clue what the heck I am screwing up here?
Could you try the following to get me a transcript of the bms2target.exe output please?
-
Open a command terminal at the folder where you have put bms2target. You can do this by opening the folder in windows explorer, then right click and open terminal (assuming you are running windows 11).
-
In the terminal type: powershell “.\bms2target.exe 2>&1 | tee bms2target.log”
-
Run the Target script.
-
Run BMS and reproduce the fault. You can launch the ground ops raining mission at taxi should suffice. That way we have a common mission as a baseline.
-
Send me the bms2target.log file.

It works!
Gear handle lights up when raising and lowering gears. 3 dots light up when the gears are down. TWA lights work.
Are the air break lights supposed to light up when the air break is fully extended? That is the only thing I don’t see lighting up.
Thanks for this great program, and for all of your help and patience!

@Echo That’s ok and I’m happy that you’re happy! I’ve been quite busy too developing a finger-mounted mouse button emulator that can be used in VR. With the announcement of OpenXR coming with U4, these will make a massive difference with cockpit interaction… point your hand over a switch and click!

That sounds fantastic! What sort of hardware is involved, i.e., is there some device/ring etc. you have to wear on your fingers?

@Tomcattwo Yes, it is a ring of sorts using a Seed XAIO nrf5240 Bluetooth Arduino module, a 5-way hat switch and a miniature Li-Po battery. The original idea is from a chap going by the name rafgaj78.
I have modified it to use a 5-way hat switch and created a coolie hat for it. I have also rewritten the software to make it more power efficient as the original is quoted for 4 to 5 hours. I think mine could last days. Mine will also report the battery power charge status to the Bluetooth receiver.
Original design is here if you want to make your own.
