Solved Wingman coms blocking the VHF
-
Hi,
per accident i found a issueVersion and Build number:
4.37.3 (x64) 1358Detailed Description
Wingman coms blocking the VHFPictures/Video:
Crash logs*:
no crash
Dump Files (*.dmp):
no dumpReproducibility Procedure
- In the air, waiting that 2 is rejoined VHF 15
- flying to Tanker, changing to Tanker VHF 13
- Sending Wingman back to Base while on VHF 13
- VHF 13 is lit up without any comms hearing and is “transmitting” the hole time
- Wingman reacts to “rejoin” command but the VHF Channel is still on transmitting
- Changing VHF back to 15 Wingman confirms commands and VHF stops beeing blocked
Expected Behavior
Wingman dont react on the command while on VHF 13 ? and dont block the VHF ?Files: Modified TE AAR Mission (start time change so a rampstart is possible)
TE AAR MissionIf this is just working as designed then sorry for bothering

VHF lit up mean YOU are transmitting. Not that there is anyone transmitting
Check your bindings
-
@Echo Not that this is a solution (as I also think you have something going on with your bindings), but the tanker should be on UHF 13, not VHF.
-
@Echo I have found simillar bug - sometimes i forget to check the briefing so I use UHF15, but sometimes WNGMN is on UHF16. So, im on UHF15 and ask for about “What is status” …no response of course (cos he is at UHF16), but UHF15 stay active for a minute±

hi @Mav-jp @CriticalMass @GhostDog-0
Thank you for your quick respone!
Maybe I misinterpreted my issue and mixed it up so appologies for this
But what you can see on the tape is that if you have another channel like 13 (which is absolutly incorrect) and not the correct 15
My question maybe should be why is the AI still getting the Commands and reacting to it ? and why I’m transmiting the hole time until i get back to the right channel
Thank you for your Input

Because there is a bug that popped up in U3 and that will be solved in U4
