Anybody using the new driver for a Nvidia GTX 570 Super OC? If so, how well do they work?

I just use everything at max and with Fraps it shows 60 FPS unfortunately it is not shown on the picture. I hope it helps.

Just upgraded to to the new 306.81 drivers from 301.42. With no change in settings, I can confirm a 5 or 6 FPS increase. I also noticed that the FPS, in game, seems to be more stable with less fluctuation. My GPU is the 8800 512 GTS. With my game settings maxed, I’m seeing about 20FPS on the ground and 40+ FPS in flight. This jumps to the 50’s (frames locked at 58.) if I disable VSync. Hope this helps.

Sounds like good news, I updated a couple of days ago but haven’t run bms since then because of my coolie hat / toe brake problems on the cougar. I will give it a try over the weekend hopefully.
Cheers, Uwe

New drivers 310.7

Downloading. Thanks.

310.7 incompatible with DisplayLink software. Had to roll back.

310.7 seems to work just fine for BMS though. I installed it yesterday and flew a TE and a campaign mission with no graphics issues.

Yes works fine on my main computer Stubbies, but on the computer that has the USB monitors and DisplayLink software it fubars the desktop manager. Also updater won’t install on that computer either (no loss).

When they first came out with these drivers over a week ago, I posted my crash logs from DWM crashing on every windows bootup on the Nvidia feedback thread on their site.
Glad to see they paid absolutely ****-all attention.

I installed them, jury is still out. I thought I saw some stuttering with no changes in my settings from previous driver. Will keep checking.

310.70 created blue screen of death using XP, so reverted to 306.81. Is it God’s way of telling me it’s time to enter the 21st century and upgrade to Win 8 64-bit? (and new mobo, CPU, RAM etc etc)?

Yeah… probably. It seems to be one of his methods to get the economy boosted during the holidays.

Me too, strong stuttering once in a while when looking in certain directions, but not lower fps. Stutters are even at 40-50 fps. I’m rolling back if this continues.

Yup, me too. In fact it seems to me that the more Multi-players, the worse it is. It’s not that bad, but I think I may roll way back to even older drivers. I always thought they were more stable and I had better frame rates overall. But the 306 drivers weren’t bad.
