Saitek X-52 Profile

Thanks KesMonkey! Your profile is great. If anyone is having to press c on the keyboard to get out of dogfight mode go to the config file and make sure this is what it says.
“set g_bHotasDgftSelfCancel 1 // set to 1 = SRM and MRM override callbacks will call the override cancel callback for you”
Set it to 1.
I have one question. Does anyone know what I have to do to map the precision slider as TGP zoom? It doesn’t work when assigning it to the range axis. I am guessing that the radar range mapped to the mouse wheel is conflicting. Any ideas?
Thanks again KesMonkey. The longer I fly the more I realize how good your profile really is.

Great tip mate!! I wondered for ages to get this working. Everytime I start a mission my first concern had to be to cancel the DGFT mode!!
Thanks!

Pinky switch.
Precision slider is good for FOV zoom - set in Controller > Advanced

Thanks for making and sharing the profile, no thanks for too much screwing around trying to find it. Update the OP FFS.

First of all thanks for the profile. But I am having one problem so far and that is with using the no track ir set up. I am running win7 64 bit and current saitek drivers. The pov 1 hat will not move my view for cockpit. I have tried to program it but no joy. Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks

Never mind I got it figured out.

This profile is not Ok, it’s not good or nice.
This is freakin’ awesome.
Thanks for putting so many hours into this. In fact i could have all the time in the world and i still wouldn’t come up with so efficient layout.
I study it and trying to get it in my muscle memory… man it’s great. -
Hello KesMonkey,
No doubt this profile is awesome. Although file extension is same for X52 and X52 Pro but Pro owners cannot use your profile . All x52 Pro owners will appreciate if you can upload same profile for X52 Pro (as Hard~deck did his profile for both) or publish print out of your profile from Saitek Profile Editor. Printout will help us quickly make x52 pro profile copying your buttons/macros.
Thanks a lot!
Keep up the good work!

Is there any version of KeysMonkey’s profile for Saitek X52 Pro?
-
Hello guys
I have just downloaded the sim and installed it.
My question was if some had the old format .dat format profile for my x52 regular version?
I had installed the new drivers but then my desktop becomes instable? so i had to revert to my old drivers.
Thnx. -
Hey Echelon1…
There really isn’t much programmed using the profile - just the mouse for radar cursor control, and the mouse wheel for radar range. I don’t know what the keystrokes for these functions are but it should be a snap to find them and program a profile. All the other functions are programmed within BMS. Just remember to disable the clutch! FWIW, I don’t even use the mouse wheel anymore.
Cheers!

I have a newb question that I hope someone can help me with.
Is there a bind for steerpoint cycling?
-
Just to add, does everyone’s FOV zoom on TGP work alright with this profile? I can adjust the gain on my FCR but chaning SOI and attempting to zoom in on TGP does nothing.
-
Hey…
To answer your first question - no, there is no bind. As far as TGP zoom is concerned, IIRC I had to setup the dial in the advanced controller setup.
Hope this helps…
Cheers!
