Radar Cursor slew issue Saitek x-65
-
Hey guys
so I mapped the shift + arrows to a hat on the stick but as soon as I touch it it continuously slews, so I tried mapping it elswhere still the same. Deleted it and then tried mapping it in the BMS mapping (ingame) still happening. ran a test in saitek control panel and not getting multi keystrokes, this is driving me buggy -
you need to use the up stroke of the key, check here https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?23773-Saitek-X52PRO-radar-cursor-issues post #5
also make sure you use bands.

so I got it working for a minute then its like all the keys are bound to something else, really retarded…gonna reinstall bms but this key crap is a pain in butt
-
Don’t use modifiers (shift, control, alt) with cursor slewing …. try it as single keys and see if that works better.
-
when using sst profile you just load the full BMS in game config correct, or should I just not use the SST and do everything in the game profiler
-
My preference is to minimize use of SST to as close to zero as possible. Cursor slew is one of the items that may require SST (it does on the X52/52pro, with limited exceptions). If you do use SST, use bands as mentioned, and set the keystroke to a single key (-> instead of SHFT ->).
If you have the option of using the up/down/left/right BMS callbacks or use a BMS axis, IMHO, do that instead.
-
Limited exceptions being that you can just add the ministick axes as directX axes - although at the cost of another axis, typically the twist rudder.

Hi.
I had the same problem with my X52 mini stick and after a lot of search on the forum I find a solution.a) Follow previous indication and assign at the UP, DWN, LFT and RGHT movement of the stick a single key for each one, not in conjunction with SHFT, CTRL, ALT or other keys nor shifted inside X52 profiler . You can do this changing the assignment inside Falcon and save the new file with a new name just to have the original one as a backup.
b) edit the stick controller inside the profiler as bands.
c) assign at any of the axis an ADVANCED COMMAND
d) set the delay at a minimum value, the same for all command, just to have the same reply .
Unfortunately I do not have find the original post with the useful indication.
I’ll search again for the proper credits.
RegardsSorry I am not able to delete one image from those which is duplicate ….

I just switched bindings with the icp keys which are just the arrow keys.
Made the icp bindings with shift + arrow and made ministick just plain arrow keys.
I dont need the keyboard icp as i do it in the pit.
Then in sst just assign arrow keys- works perfect . -
If you have rudder pedals there’s a registry fix that removes the twist rudder axis and makes the micro stick function as 2 axis that you can then map in the advanced control setup.
