example the 08_26_airbase is 1674 objective. But in tacedit it shows its name as shows inside falcon and the objective id plus 100. This is done with all objective numbers in tacedit. Dont get confused with campaign id, camp id is the tacedit numbering also used for stations and ils file to declare the tacan and ils frequencies.
So 1674 actually is 1774 in tacedit.
Allways have in mind the +100 when working with tacedit.Hope it helps. Terrain editor in objectives lab shows and the real objective number.

Anyhow I wonder since u dont know such how did u assembled and took the pictures above???Edit: here and the 1.2.3. from here: https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?14127-Questions-questions&p=200279&viewfull=1#post200279
Another addition that makes placing 3d objects way easier in the speed of lightning and getting rid of LodEditor wich is WAY SLOW…
So u need LE just to Import to the database the LOD’s nothing else… unless this also can be done bu the Falcon Editor and I haven’t discovered it yet.Back…
On the left area where are the Move Rotate Center buttons… they work like this…
From the left area u select the features-objects u want to move-rotate etc… U can use Shift to select many (start - end) or with control to select specific which objects u want. Then press and hold Move… Now while holding the move pressed, move your mouse and u will see your features-objects move… unpress move and press and hold rotate… move your mouse left - right and u will see the features rotate…
When u want a new feature u can press insert on the left down button and choose the one u want… So not to travel the feature from one side to the other first select a feature that is near by to the area where u want to place the new feature.
Final u can easily add same features with copy paste like this:
Select the features u want to duplicate. Now Press Ctrl+c then Ctrl+v. Now as above move (press and hold move button) and move the mouse u will see the duplicated features appear… (Magic… lol) -
Thanks
i’m “working” only with 3ds->LOD & textures in LODEDITOR and move features inside objectives with BMS editor
i had see your post , but for my english skill it’s a little confuse and i do not know how .tac & .fed files works
in particular3. Then Tacedit to create the objective record to the theater with the name u want. Now this objective is the one that shows up on the Map of the Falcon UI.
4. Then Viceversa to move changed files from your theater to Korea folders so that Falcon editor will show your theaters map and objective and not Korea’s. This program compares files in the Terrdata Folder so o transfer them back and forth. Actually u transfer your theater Terrdata folders to the Korea Folders. U do your changes with Falcon editor and then u get the altered files back to your theater.
5. Then Falcon editor to place the objective where it should be. Don’t forget to save… well save many times so u don’t loose your work…
For me I had no crash not even once… in contrast to LodEditor.
Also have Google Earth open so to compare and fine tune your objects to your 3d as realistic as u can.
Final on this step don’t forget to check night also for lights and etc…
6. Then u will do the Viceversa again to put the altered files back to your theaters folder.i do not understand
tanks for your time
i have venice , vatican , zagreb , sarajevo and others , that i want to insert and put in the right positiontake your time , do not worry (if you can in future give me detailed explanation like 1…. 2… 3… i’m very very grateful to you )

lot’s of things there are needed to be shorted…
1. F4Browse u created a record with the number 2365 named vatican.
2. u open it and u see runways… so something went wrong here…Now the correct order:
1. use the Append add model wizard to import the LODs with LodEditor.2. Write down the parrent numbers. Those go to the Feature and not the objective… An objective consists of features.
3. So in F4Browse u have to use the addcopy for feature record and ClassTable CT record for this new feature.
4. Then again use the addcopy but this time for the objective, also use the addcopy for ClassTable CT record for this objective.
5. Now Go to LodEditor on the left select (just one click on it) the Feature record number u just created from step 3 with F4Browse and change the Normal Repaired damaged and destroyed numbers, when done press update. If u dont want or don’t have some models just write 0.
6. Now open tacedit and open te_new.tac. Create a new objective or alter an existing one… write down the x and y coordinates where u want it to be placed. On the OCD Id field u will put the objective number u created at step 4 plus 100. Example: if the objective number is 1915 then u enter 2015 which is 1915+100.
7. Now Open Falcon Editor (If u have Update 5 or 6 there is no need to use the viceversa method just select the balcans theater from falcon and make sure in falcon editor window it says Balcans Theater) find and open the objective record u created at step 4. erase the features u see there as they are from the objective u just copied in f4browse. Now insert the feature or features u created at step 3… If u want to see also the tiles underneeth on the bottom left of the editor window says X Y but they are the oposite. So from step 6 enter here the coordinates but in reverse X=Yfrom tacedit and Y=Xfrom tacedit… and if all right u will see your features u just imported from steps 1 and 5. Now u can use Falcon editors functions to move rotate your features whereever u want them…
In my video there are comments click to see them all:
How to create - add objectives in the falcon database and add objectives to TE’s and Campaigns… How to place object on the terrain as u want them…

sorry but i’m stupid
i do not understand what exactly are , and i do not understand where to find "number , ct number , offset number , feature record number , objective number , objective parents , ct objective "
…… i’m a lot confuse …
i need step by step instuction … sorry … again i’m stupid
regards and thanks -
No m8 u r not stupid. Mostly it’s my fault… sorry but some minor health issues kept me away from the pc for a few days… well I managed to do some screencaptures that might help more…
Also we could arrange a team viewer meeting and show u on your pc…so here we go:
starting with f4browse… this is the feature record. Notice that when u add copy u must select a familiar feature in this case a bridge:Then the Class Table record for the previous feature record… Notice that the offset number is the same as the feature No.
Now the Objective Record, notice that when u add copy u must select a familiar objective in this case a bridge:
Then the Class Table record for the previous Objective record… Notice that the offset number is the same as the Objective No.
Now in Lod Editor let’s find the Feature first, Notice here in step 2 3 4 5 u enter the parrent records, the ones when u imported the model, then on step 6. click update:
Now again in Lod Editor let’s find and the Objective, just to make sure it shows up ok, we don’t change anything here:
Now let’s find where the objective is in falcon, meaning the XY coordinates, notice 1. the OCD Id is 100+ then the real objective number. At 2. and 3. are the XY coordinates:
Now let’s go to Falcon Editor. First make sure it’s on the correct theater (Aegean in my case), select objectives tab and find the objective. Double click to open:
Now u can create or alter your objective:
I hope it’s way clear now. If u have more questions I’m here.

now i’ll try , thanks again and again
