Extractions are enabled but still no display on MFDs.

did you try test part on server
it should be send image to your android -
I do not see where you confirm (or were asked to confirm) that extraction is on in configuration/settings hardware/cockpit displays to external windows.
I have no idea if needs to be on for this android app but . . . .

it should be send image to your androidThe test part is a little confusing. I followed your instructions by hitting 5, 5a, 5b, & 5c. What is suppose to happen? I did both with the app on and off. I do not see anything looking like a transfer at all. Can you make the test steps a little more clearer.
I also have my modem going through my wireless router. Does my modem have to be direct connection to my computer? I did notice 2 different IP addresses in the server window when I did a Alt-Ctrl Tab to go back to the server after launching the sim and pressing the COM 1, COM 2, etc.

On my set up the server ip’s are all the same. In the top left of the server it says local IP, that is the same as the address in andriod ip to the right in the test area on the server and also the same ip under server ip on the app in the tablet. So in my set up all three server ips are the same. Hope that helps

Komurcu Ive been helping Dracfalcon, my set ups works but just so you know the servers local IP is my android tablet IP and that what I have also in the app IP. Im wondering if there is a way we can change Dracfalcons server local ip to his app ip as that works for me. Also Im unable to use the testing functions but the app works fine and displays whats in the mfd’s
Komurcu, I need to edit this, my desktop ip is displaying in the MFD server not my tablet. Sorry for the confusion. And I did get the test to work. I have worked with Dracfalcon to try to get his app working and we are having no luck. We double checked the config file and also made sure that that mfd cockpit display extraction is selected. I had him uninstall the server and delete the folder then reinstall. Any other ideas?

In “test Bölümü” there is Tablet IP , this is your server ip. For testing you have to change as Tablet IP. You have to find your Tablet IP from your tablet , if you start server and press any button on tablet (ICP , MFDs) you can get see ip of tablet on server.
So take tablet ip and write test part and use IMG Gönder button to test

I am having the same problem. What tablet are you using? I am using a Samsung Galaxy 2 Tab 10.1. I have also used it on a KindleFire with the same issue.

it’s local brazilian made version. you will not recognize it.
but, we may have missing something, the config is little confusing

unfortunately some undroid tablets do not accept screenshoots from pc.
i am searching to find what is the problem.
i am estimating ,
the problem can be root ing(root user or like this). -

I figured out
when the app receives the data from sim, you have to “refresh him” touching to enter on ICP or RWR in both MFD and return, so then the images from sim comes to the both MFDs.
unfortunately we had to figure this out as the manual dont mention it. Maybe in some tablets this is not necessaryAs for the screens taken and appeared there you have first to press PrtSrn on you keyboard and then touch on the same on the app to that image appear.

I tried following your instructions above. However, it is still a little confusing. Is there a way to give step-by-step instructions. I am not sure what to do first. Can you put it in the following format.
1. ……
2. …
3. …I just need the video on MFD instructions only (Step-by-Step). Everything else works.
-
1 - install the MFD server on pc and the app on the tablet
2 - Configure the MFD server
3 - put your computer network ip on the app4 - start the MFD server, minimize it
if your buttons is working now all is done well5 - start BMS and go fly on the 3D world
6 - on the app on tablet there some buttons to change from MFD to ICP and RWR click on both sides and turn back to MFDsDone, your mfds is working……
To make screenshots to appear when you hit the page “Scr.” on the app you have to hit PrtScn as you do in any screenshot. so the go to the app and touch the “virtual PrtScn” key and voilá! the same screen shot you taken appears there
Good thing to “file” the briefing or other info.
Remember, change the right MFD to RWR and the left to ICP and turn them both to MFD…

Hi,
I tried the software but I can’t have the MFD, ICP and RWR rendered to my tablet.
I’m flying Falcon BMS 4.34 upd.7 on WIndows 7 Ultimate and I use a Samsumg 10.1 Tablet (GT-P7510) running Android 4.0.4.
I enabled ‘set g_bExportRTTTextures 1’ in falcon_bms.cfg, ran the ‘Cockpit display extraction’ to check that the ‘main’, ‘MFD’, ‘RWR’ and DED’ are enabled as suggested in a preceding post in this thread, but still I have non image extraction.
The OSD buttons and the flight data update are working, I also turned off the windows firewall.
Can anybody give me some help?
I think this software can be extremely useful to the falcon community and it is also well done, but maybe also the buttons on the server part should be translated to english otherwise it can be very confusing, I’m not an english speaking user but being Falcon an international comunity I think that english should be the main language for all related utilities.
Also the server O.S. version should be saved to the configuration, I have to check it every time I start the server.
Thank you and my compliments for the applicationGianluca Ghelli
