Weapon Delivery Planner released

Hello Falcas,
I think I found another issue with 3.5.7 and ITO. When loading a campaign file I get a facility in Eilat shown as target in the datacard, no matter if I use the DTC with precision waypoints from the savegame or not. If wanted I can send you a PDF of the datacard via mail. I use Vanilla BMS update 7 + KTO Red Flag + Aegean TO + ITO.Greetings and many thanks for your outstanding work.
Hi,
The DTC precision point have nothing to do with the target on the datacard.
Please first learn how BMS works before writing this as a bug.Gr Falcas

The intel officer only shows you the SAMs that are spotted.
Gr Falcas
Although recently WDP will not show SAMs that are spotted in BMS. At least for me.
-
No, thats not the real Problem, maybe I ewpressed myself a little bit unclear. I think I have your mail from a former discussion. My Problem is whenever I create a flight with a target in Syria the WDP datacard shows me the coordinates of a facility in Eilat.
Greetings

Falcas,
I can confirm that in Israel 0.99 the aiport details shown in the datacard are wrong. This flight takes off from Hatzor, for example:
In 0.99 the ground objectives are new with different indexes, maybe that’s what causing it?
I do not see any other problems, though. Flight path and threats look OK.

Hello Jinro!
It works great on my side! WDP considers though if sams are spotted or not, but also if sams are equiped with radar. For AUTO-PPT, sams require to be within certain distance from your flightplan to be generated. Also consider that sometimes BMS shows a sam in 2D, while it actually is flagged as “unspotted”. In that case it is a bonus
Cheers mate!

Hi,
WDP has its own database with all the theater, country and airport info.
This database contains more info than what can be collected from the BMS files.
For example the ICAO / IATA codes, or transition level for the ATIS for example.
This is done with the objective ID numbers, so if they got changed from what was before, it makes sense that you will see this happen.
It will just take a database (wdp) update.Give me some time and I get it sorted. As you know, pretty busy with some other stuff as well.

Great. And no need to hurry

I think I mis-stated the issue. The WDP map shows the SAM locations and threat circles (not auto PPT) all around, and close to, the SA-10’s, like SA-2 and SA-4, just not the SA-10’s. SA-10 box is checked.

Didn’t have time to check this specific situation.
But it works in Korea, so there is no reason why it should work diffently (or not) in Israel.
Don’t forget, it is not WDP that spots the SAMs, that is done in BMS. And for the SA-10 to be spotted in BMS you need a JSTAR (in range to the SA10) airborne and on station. Beside a SA-10 being spotted because it is shooting at somebody.
That is why WDP shows you if an JSTAR is on station or not and you can see the coverage of the JSTAR. (Map tab)Gr Falcas

This behavior may be due to the vehicles being designated as not visible in Falcon4.FED?

Falcon4.fed??? No data for vehicle in that file.
This has always been the case with SA-10s, by design

Falcas is there a way to help u and sent u the data for new theaters to integrate them in WDP? or is there a way that someone using something to create a database for his theater?
Edit: I hope u have the EMF theater data so when it comes out it will be ready for your tool…

Hi,
New version released, latest is 3.5.8.
https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?5293-Weapon-Delivery-PlannerBeside that the database has been updated to match ITO 0.99, there are also other changes and fixes.

WDP 3.5.8 has no Callsign.ini 3 min. timer function that used to reside on the datacard page. So how can callsign.ini be updated for campaign missions? I also can not get the enemy SAM threat circles to appear on the map. Only search radar circles will appear.

A couple of BMS update ago the Load button in the DTC tab was activated. No more need for the timer.

Can the weapon loadouts be altered in the WDP? I dont see a way to do so. Cheers.

WDP is not made to change your mission, so loadout can not be changed.

Great! Bet I am not the only one to have missed this nice feature. Still do not understand why 3.5.7 shows most of the enemy SAM threats, while 3.5.8 does not.

Hi,
Some more info on the thread circles.
The yellow circles are only shown for the SAMs that are active and spotted.
As in real life… no cheating. If WDP doesn’t give you the SAM as a yellow cirlce, you can alway do it the old fashion way and place the PPT yourself (in WDP or BMS). On the map in WDP use right mouse click to place a PPT anywhere you want. When you have a yellow circle, with the mousego to the center of the yello circle until you see a info label popping up. Use the left mouse button to add this exact PPT.So SAMs without a radar will not be shown. They can’t shoot at you.
But in this case the radar has been destroyed and the position of the SAM is still know.
You can use the “Show SAM no Radar” to see those SAMs where the radar has been destroyed already.SAMs that are currently on the move are not shown. Unless there is a JSTAR on station and SAM is in range of the JSTAR. When on the move, there position is not known (exactly). If a JSTAR is on station can be seen on the MAP tab, green/red light.
To see the range of the JSTAR, you can use the “Show JSTAR Area”. This will give you an idea if the area of interrest is in range of the JSTAR.Gr Falcas
