Weapon Delivery Planner released

Is there possibility this can be made either for Android tablet, OR an app that can load the WDP output JPGs? Or integrate with BMS Electronic Flightbag… Love WDP, tossed my campaign mission JPGs on Dropbox and downloaded on tablet. Very handy but roundabout way.
Nope, it will not be made as an app.
Instead of moving everything to a dropbox, there are plenty of apps where you can access all your files though your WLAN at home.
I can directly access all the files on my Ipad from my flying PC. Its as if I have the files on my Ipad itself.Gr Falcas

I will look into that, thanks

I’ve got ES File Explorer on Android tablet connected remotely to my PC, added the /DataCards directory as a favorite. I hide unnecessary files (non-image) and voila! Although I have to resize the datacards by pinch-zooming, since they are 2 pages in 1 image. It would be handy to get them in 2 separate images, if only for that reason.

Just tried that, but do not get any Datacard pages (with ATIS, Airbase, Callsign pack, STPT, etc). A4 I do.
-
I have suddenly developed an “unhandled exception” when I try to assign a secondary target on the DataCard or when I try to add a precision STPT in the DTC

Works fine here.
Settings, set Saved Picture size to A5 and close.
Load your mission and do what you need to do.
Click on “Save Datacard” and save your datacard.
You will see that the datacard, commcard and targetlist gets saved with the callsign + left/right.
So Cowboy 1_Left.jpg, Cowboy 1_Right ect.Gr Falcas

Details please…

Could you send me directions on how to connect to my PC on myAndroid tablet so I can get the WDP data on it. What is the name of the program?

What application are you using to open the file. It has a .bdc extension?

ES File Explorer, I wrote a tutorial thread here https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?18196-Tutorial-Set-up-Weapon-Delivery-Planner-Datacards-with-Android-phone-tablet
-
What application are you using to open the file. It has a .bdc extension?
Any program that you can use through your local network and can show jpegs.
You only need to open/view the jpg file.
The .bdc can only be correctly read by WDP.Gr Falcas

I don’t get those… I only get:
Camel 2.bdc
Camel2_Map.jpg
Camel2_TargetList_1.jpg
Camel2_TargetList_2.jpg
Single08_26_diagram.gifI’m on 3.6.0
Also any way to get the Coordination Card Also?
Edit…
Hmm in A4 setting I get
Camel 2.bdc
Camel 2.jpg
Camel 2_Comm.jpg
Camel2_Map.jpg
Camel2_TargetList_1.jpg
Camel2_TargetList_2.jpg
Single08_26_diagram.gifSo that covers me… but not in A5.

This is what I get when I save the datacard. Used one of the Korea default TEs.
See all the files that are being saved?
Gr Falcas
-
I am still being asked for a Username and Password, is anyone else having this issue. I do not have a PW for this computer
-
This is what I get with A4:
This is what I get with A5:
And after the A5 save this is what I have inside the folder:
Now as u can see those 3 are different… and what A5 says it saved ain’t there in the folder…
Maybe it has to do with the resolution I set? I’m at 1920x1080.

Details please…
It’s very strange. Selecting the Primary Target works find and I did not have this problem before.
1. Load any mission (default CCIP training mission, for example).
2. Double-click DMPI for Secondary Target = Unhandled Exception1. Load any mission (or no mission at all)
2. Open DTC page.
3. Go to Targets tab.
4. Double-click on a STPT = Unhandled exception.1. Press “continue” to ignore error and the target-selection window appears.
2. Select any category from the dropdown menu = Unhandled exception.@error:
See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.************** Exception Text **************

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.For example:

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception

rather than be handled by this dialog box. -
hmm a kind request for wdp and some MC functions.
The ability to save a mission per side.
Meaning the mission creator uses wdp to create and share datacards maps etc. it would be great if it could also save the mission per side by erasing oposite side packages or flights or even better let him choose like ground - airdefences - naval - flights.
That way each side can practice on their plan without knowing the other side info or plan or surprises. Why not do it manually with mc? Well u know how Lazy we r Falcas not to mension that some ppl with language barrier cant use MC so someone else has to do it, or cause of secrecy the mission stays secret until its time to fly it. So for practice u have to rebuild it…
Also an option to autogenerate the datacards per flight in a package and per side and not go one by one?
Do u thing it’s doable?
oops another one… the ability in the Coordination card to replace the text in ingress and egress Target area flot and holding plan with photos… u know those large areas are ideal for this… We do it all the time but manually with photoshop.
And in the Datacard a photo under the last stpt mostly 10 r used… and 2 photos on the right side of the map…

Hi Arty,
Got your PM.
These are all very good ideas and many (maybe all) can be implemented for sure.
But currently I am working hard on other things and WDP has dropped down on the priority list at the moment.
Which does not mean it will rise on the prio list again
I’ll see what I can do.Gr Falcas
