Korea Interactive navigation map released
-
The original falcon was full of wrong airbases.
Most of them have been removed in the Sp days (I did it - with some compromises) But Kosong slipped from the Campaign files -
There are also bases “missing”. You can find them on Google Earth. Some are just delibaretely represented wrong/different. Take a look at the areas west of Wonsan and east of Onchon. Then you will find dispersal sites with caved hangars in the mountains and strips protruding on both sides of the mountain.

Mr. Red Dog - did you ever release a “tablet” version of your marvellous interactive Air base Map?
-
i think a few guys asked permission to use my work in different IOS and android application - but they probably never updated my work since then - which is always what I fear.
I personnaly have no time (read envy) to develop applicationdid you try as it is? It should work
-
Where do I get the download .exe?
-
It is a web page, just use your webbrowser

Would you be interested at all in sharing your database, or opening up an API to share the data in the database? I have some interesting projects going on that would certainly benefit from me not having to manually enter all the data you’ve already collected.
I am more then happy to PM you some samples of what I have already done so you know I’m not just spitting beans here.

Hey Red Dog,
awesome work with this map and everything else you do for the community!
I noticed that the latest version of the offline map (http://users.skynet.be/bs999158/MAPKOREA/index.html) does not yet carry the updates you made to the interactive map (http://www.candyparty.com/ST/BMS_KOREA_interactive/index.html).
A couple of questions:
- (When) are you planning to release an updated offline version?
- (When) are you planning to update your Korean AIP (http://users.skynet.be/bs999158/F4download_navigation.htm) with the new MOA coordinates etc.?
- (When) are you planning to release an update for the in-game background map?
Thanks.
-
hehe
that’s the prize for working with multiple versions of BMSI noticed that the latest version of the offline map (http://users.skynet.be/bs999158/MAPKOREA/index.html) does not yet carry the updates you made to the interactive map (http://www.candyparty.com/ST/BMS_KOR…ive/index.html).
that’s because the current offline map is the one still valid for 4.32
the newest interactive map you linked is not yet in use and still in development. it will be fully released and replacing the older one in due time. for now, since you still use 4.32 - refer to the latest offline map which is fully valid- (When) are you planning to release an updated offline version?
when development of that map is complete and probably in 3-4 fst weeks
- (When) are you planning to update your Korean AIP (http://users.skynet.be/bs999158/F4do…navigation.htm) with the new MOA coordinates etc.?
yes and same answer as above, the aip update has already started - it will be in your doc folder soon
- (When) are you planning to release an update for the in-game background map?
as the old one yes, it will be included in your next bms version
-
Most excellent. Definitely looking forward to 4.33 even more now.
Small request: Would it be possible to include your “World HI” as an optional in-game background map?
-
it might not be possible from Inside the ui, but i can certainly provide an alternate ui map as a separate download for that purpose
good idea -
You da man, Doggy Daddy. thanks
