This sim has a ways to go before being the real Viper. And as time goes on this sim falls farther behind the real jet. Eventually we will be pushing to M7.1 in the real world. The check is in the mail for AESA. BMS will still be emulating M3… So as I say again, this is a Viper sim. Don’t be a dick.

Well obviously views vary on this but I believe F4 has survived so long because it is a great game to play as well as a great sim. While button pushes love all the realistic procedures and switcholgy, lot of us just enjoy flying the sim our own way. In this thread its all about the hornet (its even in the title).
So while obviously your passion is the Viper (awesome aircraft), some of us have a different view of what we enjoy. So you enjoy it your way, and we will enjoy it our way. simple.

Its been said, if you want to build a totally accurate simulator, you’ll ultimately end up building the real thing.
For us mere mortals who’ll never get to experience ther eal thing, BMS have given us (well, me anyway) a pretty satisfactory alternative.
Each to their own - my love here is F16, others elsewhere.
PS - personal attack… Your mask is slipping.
One last thing, BMS are a small bunch of enthusiasts doing this shit for fun - please bear this in mind when making multi-billion dollar comparisons.

The bms f18 will go into a ‘falling leaf’ in BMS, quickest way to recover is to drop the gear and let the nose fall. And no im assuming thats not in the NATOPS smartass

Doing this saves it on many occasion when practicing stalls etc. Gear drop and let the nose down and you regain control fairly quickly. Sometimes as fast as 1000ft
