"TARGET" programming the COUGAR ?
-
I’ve been using FOXY for my COUGAR for many years, rarely tried to program it myself. Just glommed the other guys work. Using DUNC’s since BMS came out.
I see now that ThrustMaster has this new software……T.A.R.G.E.T. .
And, as before, I’m lookin’ to do a little more glommin’.
That means use someone else’s work … again.
Should I just just stick with FOXY and forget about the new software ?
Or, is there a good “glommable” Cougar package for TARGET out here ?:wfish: -
Best off mapping its controls via DirectX in the BMS client, leaving the Cougar set to Emulation OFF mode, I reckon.
-
I think it can be used but I would Stick with what you know.

I’ve never tried target but, I don’t think it offers any advantage over foxy, which you are already familiar with.
If your going to dig in a bit, I would recommend looking into Kolbe’s stuff. It gives DX and foxy works with it.
In your joystick/generic folder IIRC.
