I tested only in TE the M1A1, Chappy, Roland and SA-6 launcher models. Because only LOD0 is swapped player never will see LOD0 as long as do not make video and use external view of these stuff, even except M1A1 these units are very rare therfore do not cause FPS issues. (As I can judge even if you lock with TGP and use totally unreal level of zoom you also never get LOD0 on your MFD.) Only problem because lack of other LODs the transition is very, very weak as distance and your FOV are changing.
BTW how annoying is the grpahical side effect of functional SHORADs? Is it even noticeable?

Hopefully tomorrow I can release an updated JGSME package wit F-4DSK fix and default Block 40 pit will be the legless. Swith between 3D trees, alternative campaign with F-16ADF and lons/short smoke particle is also will be supported by karnalooch. In case anyone wish to play F-16 Block 40 pit with legs the replacement method is the same only a different LOD should be used.
-
I also adjusted the LOD distances when I installed them, although the SA-6 needs some more adjustment to avoid ‘popping’ when the LOD changes.
-
After reading it has the WIP F-14D in it I was on it like a sugarbee on honey…I think I will also put the F-14B cockpit in it.:D
-
All F-14 have the same WIP cokcpit or at least should have.

First post is updated with a new JSGME install and pack which are contains an updated version of MOD. In case you have applied the F-4DSK fix and swapped the Block 40 pit to legless version you get the same with much more easier to use this version of the MOD. Sooner or later I will remove the old installer which is made by Khronik, it seems to me much easier to release updated version of MOD and also not MP critical MODs also can be made very easily with JSGME.
The Release Notes will be updated tomorrow which new informations which are in the first post.

Launch JSGMEBMS4.exe and select the main theater and other parts which to wish to use.
Hi Molni, I just wanted you to take notice that, by default, JSGME searches for mods into the “BMS mods” folder and not into “BMS4 mods”.
So when you start the tool after following the procedure detailed in the 1st post, you end up with an empty mods list.
So, you ought to change the folder name into the .zip file or - best option, IMHO - change the name of the folder into which JSGME expects to find mods into the provided JSGME.ini to “BMS4 mods”.
Thanks for your wonderful work, keep pushing it forward!!!

Ops, serious typo, I fix it. Thx.

How far you could play the campaign so far? Has anybody reached day 3 or finished a campaign?

Every time I start one, I get distracted by the ATO and start screwing with various files trying to get BARCAPs…

Hey guys,
Anyone else having problems with the download?
The mediafile one is set to private and the file ive downloaded bluwolf\s link seems to be corrupted. Ive tried it from 2 locations and 2 computers. Dont think its something my end.EDIT:
I got an NSIS error, stating an incomplete download. Any chance of a third alternate source? like Drop Box?
-
Try the first link again. BTW I recommend now use the JSGME way the last method in the first comment. It has the legless F-16C Block 40/42 pit and the F-4DSK fix.
I have no idea why was private the original link, I simply cannot find such an option in MF…
-
Yep! that works! Now i have to figure out and download JSGME.
So many obstacles to the F14….
-
It is very easy to do.
-
Hey mate, I tried to install it earlier today and I got 2 errors during the install.
““7zip cannot find the code that works with archieves””"
followed by a second error.
Any chance you can try to reinstall yours and see if the same error crops up??
Thanks
-
Which version did you try?
-
The mediafire one.
The download works and I can drag the .exe out. But the installer comes up with the error and stops.
-
Try the JSGME way the last links in the first post. It is the latest and requires only 7zip.
-
Hey mate, got the JSGME working, and that works nicely!
That F14 cockpit looks good, and Im glad we will finally see a F14 that can be used in the campaign!
And the ability to play RedFor is a nice touch! What other flyable aircraft cockpits can we expect?
