Yes. Best to name your stock particlesys.ini to Xparticlesys.ini first(as a backup) and then insert the new particlesys.ini in the \Falcon BMS 4.32\Data\Terrdata folder.

Yes, make sure you backup the original particlesys.ini. Then put the texture file in the misctex folder (else there will be black squares when using the effects).

I think that you just didn’t copy the .dds file to the misctex folder, that is why you see black squares instead of the tracers.

The issue should now be fixed. Use the same DL.
It was a effect i added for the tracers in a previous version that i had not adjusted to the new .dds file.
This effect was made to make the tracers more visible from longer distances at night with night vision goggles. There might be some “weirdness” with this effect if you change views. The effect should only be run/seen between 20000-80000 feet and if you are in cockpit there shouldnt be any issues, but if you change views when the effect is Active there might be some “big” tracers shown. Like if you are in the “Active range” from a ground battle and change view to look at the ground units, the tracers already fired Before you changed view will have this effect added to them and they will look very big compared to normal.Anyway, thanks for the Pictures.
