Profile is working great thanks. But I have an issue that I wonder if anyone here has experienced before. The MRM Override and the SRM Override flash on & off quickly when I select them with the boat switch. Further investigation found that I have to keep the ‘M’ key depressed on the keyboard for missile override. As soon as I release the key the override cancels. The same is true for dogfight mode using the ‘D’ key.
This didn’t use to happen with my cougars so I loaded the Dunc DX keyfile and unplugged the warthogs, loaded BMS and exactly the same thing occurs.
Got me scratching my head a bit, any ideas? Thanks.

Yep, search for dofight mode in config file and you’ll find an override or cancel code on it. Change 0 for 1 (or viceversa) there and there you go. Sorry I don’t remember exact string right now

Thanks mrwell, perfect! The setting is: set g_bHotasDgftSelfCancel and to eliminate my problem I set it to ‘0’ Really appreciate your help.

Hmmm. When I last flew a few days ago, all was well in the world. Tonight however, when I try to run the script I get an error message as follows: Compile error: File not found: target.tmh
I checkedthe file path to the script directory and target.tmh is located there. So I have uninstalled TARGET, rebooted and reinstalled it. Still get the same error. Any ideas anyone? -
I have got this problem sorted. If I drop Morphines TMS file into the Thrustmaster > target > scripts folder then it runs fine. Strange behaviour though as it was working fine where it was!

Can anyone confirm for me if they are using this with Windows 8.1?
It seems all my joystick buttons are just being assigned to OSB’s, any ideas?

Sounds like your joystick is the second dx device on your system, it should be the first. I used a programme called JoysID to assign device priority.
Device 1 Joystick, 2 throttle, 3 rudder pedals.
Hope this helps.

Didn’t use the software, but you were definitely on the right track, all up and running now. Thanks a bunch mate!

Where do you get the JoysID program?

You could try what I did unplug the HOTAS system, then put the USBs back in but with the joystick going in first so it gets the first assignment. Mines still working fine after several restarts.

Try this one instead

Hi.
I have a strange problem when flying online. I’m using profile based on a sort of “blank” profile including the cutoff code that Morphine kindly provided me with.
Offline everything is working fine, but when i’m flying online and start with taxi/runway my aircraft starts rolling immediately. When i pull the throttle completely back and forth before entering the loading screen the aircraft rolls really fast, so i guess doing so i engaged full AB, at least that would explain the behavior. But the Aircraft also starts rolling if i don’t move the throttle at all. With a light payload it even starts rolling when i hold the wheelbrakes while loading.Has anyone else encountered this, and if yes, come up with a solution?

It sounds like what you are describing is a common problem with doing a Taxi Start in MP and happens to everyone regardless of the HOTAS they are using. Sometimes planes even run into each other which can cause them to explode and really ruin the fun. What we typically do is make sure you’ve cycled the throttle when it’s loading but more importantly be pumping the hell out of the brakes so that your plane stops as soon as possible after you load in. Of course, none of this is a problem if you do a Ramp Start

What was your fix? I have the same problem. Windows 8.1. The mapping works fine in TARGET but in BMS the key mapping is all off - random MFD assignments and such for buttons. Some of the buttons, however, are correct, like the trim hat. Others are not, like the trigger on the stick. Axes are all fine, DX IDs are in the proper order.

good morfin
Thanks for enjoying your profile, now a question as active the DataLink A / A, A / G What I seek and not find it on the Warthog Profile -

Ok I limited my quote to the relevant portion.
Morph I think he hasn’t set up the throttle correctly for the AB/idle cutoffs to see a problem like this. That isn’t an issue with the profile D_Fens but with user setup of controls. You should have a red line close to the bottom of your throttle axis bar and a green line closer to the top, about 2/3rds up or so. If your green line is at the bottom close to the red line you set up BMS incorrectly for the throttle.
Now if it is set correctly then I’d go with Morphine’s advice in that you might be putting the wheel brakes on too soon and the sim isn’t seeing that when you enter pit.

AB and Idle Cut Offs are set properly. And the only problems appearing are the ones mentioned above.
So when would be the right time to hit the brakes?
