Ok i didnt find anything unfortunately maybe someone else might help? If you wanna use the F-4 cockpit just make a copy the folder for the f-4 in Art/Cptart (or similar) and rename it to A7 should work i think…
Thank you for looking, a friend got it to me this morning, it is 1751 you have to make a new folder and copy the f-4 pit which is 696 and paste in, you should be good to go, the pits I worked on in Strike Fighters the f-4 pit would be a better representation of the earlier model of the A-7 and put the A-10 in the A-7E until pits are made available.

yes in my ckptart folder it’s marked A10 more than half way down the page, it works well but I prefer the F-4 pit an a10 was a bubble top with a view that wouldn’t be realist with the corsair, could some body please scale down that model to work in 32 but I got feeling I might get a new box, but if not it would have to have a installer

lol
oh ok…cause the model as a model its released but yeah you need some greek skins for her…in time… Greek version was inteded ONLY for ikaros as the AUP of my phantoms thats why they where never released but now and currently un-employed and free i have plenty of time to 3d-model as much as i can! going for a short vacations to empty my head from all the paperwork needed and then game is on -
@Yubba

A-7E 1751 A7 , now go find these folders, you go inside folder and create a new folder next you cut and paste the files inside the a-7 folder too the new folder, then you go to that f-4 folder and copy those files and paste into the a-7 folder, go fly, now I’m telling you this from 32 and what works for me might not for you, the a-7 in 32 is hideous , if you had a wing view I’ll tell you how to get that back later, but see if this works first. -
OK Yubba
I have the 2 parent folders and the F-4EJ folder now Im not sure what you mean about creating a new folder inside the A7 folder. Anyway you can show me what files are in your folders…The 3 folders I have are the 2 parent folders and then the F4-EJ folder from the ckpit folder. the 4th folder is the files from the A-7 Download which are skins and 2 other files in the A7 folder -

No I haven’t flown the A-7 yet. Here’s a pic of whats in the A-7 folder…Yubba your going to have to forgive me mate, there’s no folder inside the parent A-7 folder just files. So I don’t know what to copy and paste where. Anyway you can just zip yours up and post it for me this way I can see what your talking about?
The A-7e dat file does that go in the Acdata folder and overwrite it yes?

step by step.
1. you should try and fly the a-7 first and see what pit is in it and get a screen shot of the exterior of the a-7 please, if it’s the f-16 pit just delete those 2 files and copy and paste the f-4 files there and go fly, I’d like to know if the plane came with a pit, I can’t do anything with what you showed me above you need to use lod editor and that’s above my pay grade but we can swap pits around in game folder Data/Art/ckptart is where the parent files are for the cockpits

Well…
**1st you need to Extract (new terms of installing models) the DB with 3ddb_builder.
2nd Find the parent folder of the A-7 (folder 1751). Rename the lod you found in the zip file from my site to Model_0 and copy paste it in folder 1751.
3rd. Copy the textures from my zip to C:*Falcon root folder*\Data\Terrdata\Objects\Koreaobj folder (check first for conflicts is advised)
4th. Edit with notepad or other program the parent.dat file inside the 1751 folder and change dof number and switch number to 255 also texture sets to 7 (if you wanna use all the textures provided)
5th. Copy A7E.dat from my zip to the SIM\Acdata folder.
6th. Rebuild or update the Database with 3ddb_builder.
With all the above steps you should be able to install the model. Fire up falcon and test. (Havent installed it yet on my installation )
BEFORE ALL THE ABOVE: Always take backups.**For cockpit i dont think that A7 has a dedicated cockpitart folder. What you can do is copy one of the default ones rename it on the parent number of the A-7 (as said 1751)
Cheers.
PS sorry for my late reply on that
PS2. I cannot understand Yubba what does a wing view/model has to do with this man trying to install a model or install a cockpit?? No offence but it seems to me completely irrelevant…
