Havent made yet an low poly. Its planned though. This one is ~70k tris and 2 textures at 4096*4096. Also a set of lower textures will released as well. I just wanted to let out this one for now [emoji38]

i checked the lod and found you put ac in a nose-up layout.
it makes ac always nose-up in level flight. better use gear height to create nose-up effect.

Can u show me? and then the gears on the ground not to be floating or submerge on the ground? Im not good at dat files i told that many times!
Whoever can edit the dat file and make the bird work as it should im happy to give permission to do so. I know that this problem with the floating wheels also exists in the default model. all suggestions are welcome andim happy to change it i said that when i posted the DL link -
I’d suggest you rotate AC back to normal level flight layout. Then convert to lod format.
If fm master can help making an AFM.dat, that AFM can make a7 work like av8, a tail dragger.
If no AFM, you can use LE, double click at root node, nxPtr+, add-Taildragger function to add xdofs, for rotating whole AC once gear up.
If no AFM and no tail dragger xdofs, you still can edit a7.dat, gear Z value, increase nose gear z value to make nose-up on the ground but, the ground handling will be bad…hard to steering, stick to ground, etc. as not all gear touching the ground in physical model calculation.

Though most pics and videos i’ve seen it shows the plane in a slight upwards pitch in level flight im researching the net now for more info so i can be 100% sure about it

If someone can tell me the corresponding dof yes! But there isnt any in other naval models in BMS or i missed it!

For now there is no AFM dat so if i add this x-dof then the plane must be in Level or as it is now? As for the gear height believe me i know i made many tests in that.

Suggestion!!!? you can added in the wing fold switch when you fold the wings the nose bar to fold too….
but for sure you need separated dof-switch to be assigned

U mean deploing the bar when the wings are in normal (from folded position) right? that will be a bit strange when the nose gear will be up as the bar will remain deployed and will stick out of the fuselage,therefore i can use a gear switch so when the doors are open or closed the bar will dissapear but thats unreal cause during the action of the nose gear (up or down) the bar will be invisible also during landing the bar again will be in engaged mode for the catapult witch again will be unreal. I wnated to make it happen but it needs a lot of time and research of x-dof,dofs and switches and tests upon tests and might result a “broken” lod that is un-editable in Lodeditor for further editing of nodes and things.

No need, if u name it exactly the same and upload it to the same folder it will ask you to replace it. The link will remain the same So all that guys will have to do is redownload it and Raptor will have more time for IKAROS.
