      Hello,

I just got a new computer and had to make the jump from windows 7 to 10. It seems every time I re-boot the computer it reassigns my USB devices. Is there any work around to this issue?

      Thanks
      DP

          Thanks Agave,

I set the defaults and windows still changes the usb assignments when I reboot my computer. If I unplug and plug in the usb cables the controllers reassign in the correct order. Not sure if Im missing some windows usb config setting?

Hi m8, what do you mean with ‘changes my USB assignments’?
Can you provide some more detail, describing the problem you are experiencing and maybe some screenshots in order to help us visualize better?
In theory, even if USB order changes device GUIDs remain the same, so your DeviceSorting.txt file should suffice (provided it is correctly set up, please post it too).
