Hi, im having problems using the rotary wheels on the throttle for radar elevation
in advanced settings on the setup it goes straight to up or down theres no in between almost like its too sensitive, its driving me mad -

I have it mapped in sst, i have downloaded a couple of profiles but its the same result
would i have to map it in dx programming then? sorry this is all a bit new to me -

would i have to map it in dx programming then? sorry this is all a bit new to meWell, you canât do both. Either map it in SST (NOT recommended), or set it in the SETUP -> ADVANCED -> AVIONICS tab as a rotary axis (definitely recommended) âŚ. like so:
Itâs OK to have a BMS keyboard command as back up, just donât map it on the rotary in SST.

I ditched SST when they messed up the drivers a few years ago and havenât looked back since. So far, I havenât found anything really that you need to do that requires the SST and canât be accomplished in DX, with the exception of using the Mode Rotary to change the input of the buttons. However, in my opinion, if you need more buttons that the unshifted and shifted layers you get with DX shifting, youâre doing something wrong. The last time I reworked my DX commands, I found myself staring at a handful of buttons which were not mapped in the shifted state and could not figure out any reasonable command to bind to them. Everything you really need to while âhands onâ can be accomplished purely with DX programming.
Here is an example of DX programming for the X52 Pro which works well for me (Controller 2 is an XBOX controller)

With this config I gave up the Large Rotary as an axis, assigned Rudders to the Twist, and use the MiniStick for cursor movements. Small Rotary is RadarElevation. Slider is RangeKnob.
You can delete the Controller 2 stuff if you donât have an XBOX Controller to use, it doesnât really do anything extra important, just convenient for the bottom row of OSBs.

Thanks for the replys guys! ive tried these profiles and while the keystrokes all work fine its just the rotary dials and slider doesnt seem to,
all the movement happens so its either on full or off, like they are ultra sensitive when moved, they work fine in dcs, fsx etc

Hi guys, well i finally found a fix at the below link! its a regedit program which clears all the axes and then recalibrates them when you plug back in
