Tried a dogfight against ai on ace difficulty, AI dont do anything no defensive, no chasing, no shooting, they occasionally pop flares when i lock but thats all, they fly slow and straight.

A user pointed out that he had a similar issue with balkans and changing it to eagle and crimson instead of say crimson and tiger fixed it, will have to test it out when i get home.

Sounds ACD class is wrong….or BVR/WVR possible maneuvers are not set correct for the respective class.

Hi, just a thought, did you check in what level the skill of AI is? I think that there is a huge difference in AI reaction between recruit and ace.

DF works ok IIRC in Korea KTO, so an easy fix is to switch theater, get the steam off on it, return back to IKAROS for TE’s and Campaign.

I feel IKAROS’ AI in the DF is weaker than KTO’s

What Dogfight module were you in?? If you were in Furball, then what you describe can happen.
But the correct DF module you should be in is Match Play if it’s just you -vs- the AI.
Furball puts you all in the general area and you can move away for the aircraft and it will engage you.
In Match Play, the enemy is 10miles away coming straight at you and they will engage if/when they can.
I tried against both aircraft you listed and I saw no issues!! Both aircraft locked and fired at me before the merge!!!
