Embarrassing request

Greetings everyone,
How can I say this…
I think I wrecked my default KTO database beyond repair and I’ve given up trying to figure out why, so I was wondering if any kind soul would be willing to share his/her database with me.
Now, if you excuse me, I’ll go bury my head in the garden of noobishness.

It’s only the files in the objects folder, without the KoreaObj folders!
Cheers,

Hi Cloud 9, thank you for responding so quickly.
Unfortunately, I can’t open your file… ‘unknown format or damaged’.
-
Back up your Config folder and do a fresh install - much quicker/easier than messing around with scrounging files from everyone else.

That was kind of rude and uncalled for :-?

Chris - have you been able to sort things out yet? If not, try downloading the latest 7z File Manager, it opens Cloud’s file no probs (and will be useful in the future, I’m sure). So the issue lies with your un-archiving software, I think… Sorry if my piece of advice has become obsolete by now.

You do understand the term “scrounging”? - To search for or obtain by searching?
If you feel it was rude, then report the post. My point is, how much time have you lost waiting for files from another user when you could have resolved your issue within an hour yourself? And to save yourself ever more time in future, back up your database files before modding them.

@ TommyGun:
Thanks a million, worked like a charm!
@ Cloud 9:
I can’t thank you enough, you saved my day! By doing some file swapping and after some minor trial and error, I think I was finally able to pinpoint the root cause (a damaged file), which was really helpful.

Nah. Let’s just leave it alone.
