Missing audio feedback when releasing ordnance
-
It seems that when bombs are dropped or a missile is pickled, there is no sound that used to accompany the even in BMS 4.33 and prior. I have the external sounds in cockpit cranked up pretty high in the sound options.
Also, when dropping a MK84, there was no automatic call from the pilot so I thought for a while that my bomb didn’t release until I saw that the stores counter has decreased.
Is this something by design or a bug?

As a consequence of the complexity of the complete Radio code rewrite there are still elements that need to be (re)added, such as some weapon release calls, package comms, AWACS Check-in etc. Don’t worry, those clever coders have a To-Do list; unfortunately because they’re clever coders they are in demand in real-life and don’t have much spare time, so you’ll have to wait for a future version

No specific changes on that area. Try to modify the External Sound in cockpit slider.

The pilot calling out ordnance release is controlled by “Player Voice” in the Setup-screen.

It’s enabled and I do get the FOX calls when launching A-A missiles for example, nothing when dropping bombs though.

A lot of things are being reworked on that area.
