Invalid Format in BMS 4.34
-
I just installed 4.34 on my new rig. when I launch, the screen goes black and it says invalid format on the bottom. I have to restart the whole computer. Any ideas on how to solve this? I am pretty sure it is related to the resolution.
My system is

You could try deleting “dx9display.dsp” in the “User\Config” folder.

Win 8.1 x64 also after running 1024/768, but then returns to 1920/1080 graphic settings.

I do not see that in the user/config folder.

This file (“dx9display.dsp”) is not so desperate as to block Falcon’s launch …=?

Disable the play intro movies.

I have disabled the intro video. It didn’t help.

Drop that in your \Falcon BMS 4.34\User\Config folder and give it a try!!

Or maybe some virus-infected “AVAST” type?

I am not sure if this is possible considering i just put this rig together myself and just installed W10 before I installed 4.34.

Well, try to download again and reinstall Falcon, but someone has already advised … =?

I am not sure.
Did you download the dx9display.dsp file I provided a link for so you can put it in your install and check???

Ok. Did a total uninstall and reinstall. Then I added the dx9 file into the config folder. Still no go. I click launch, the logo screen pops up, then the screen turns black and says invalid format in the corner.
