Previous iterations, graphics and theaters

Don’t worry about 4.33 or graphics or other theaters. There is a lot to learn in 4.34 especially if you’re coming from Allied Force so you won’t have time to worry about previous versions or pretty graphics or flying elsewhere. Stick to Korea for a few months and learn the game.
As direct answer to your question; no, 4.33 not included and not needed, hi-res tiles already included in 4.34, and not sure if other theatres as fully 4.34 compatible yet. None of these are needed to have full enjoyment of the game. Just icing on an already yummy cake.

Welcome to the Forums. My father was stationed with the 7th at Carswell in the late 60s before being shipped to Minot.

Thanks for the quick replies. I will definitely have my hands full with 4.34!
I loved being stationed at Carswell. Actually did my whole 4 years there. Loved being right across the runway to General Dynamics and watching the test pilots out there putting the 16 through her paces. Ahhh the good old Cold War days.

Carswell,
a warm welcome to Falcon BMS and this Community as well, first of all.
Just, for precision sake, let me tell you that all those two recently official released theaters (I mean: Balkans and EMF, while Kuwait is still on testing, I could say ) are full compatible with the 4.34 version.
And true, even if no one of these are needed to fly, learn and have fun all around, but the two ‘locations’ above might appeal and challenge you more, especially with their campaigns, once you have updated your flying skills to the new standards.
ALL the new manuals coming in the ‘Docs’ folder of your BMS installation may be more than useful to this last purpose, I guess. If in need, please ask, we all are here you help.
Also try to seek around in the Forum huge database with the ‘Search’ function or use the dedicated ‘General Discussion’, ‘Documentation’ and ‘Technical Support’ sections, you may find there a lot of useful hints to improve your BMS experience.Have fun! With best regards.

Thank you for correcting me on Balkans and EMF Jackal.

Thank you for correcting me on Balkans and EMF Jackal.
I didn’t want to do anything like that at all, dear mate, because I first still have a lot to learn.
And when in a plane, I’m always a schoolboy, you know. With best regards.

Thanks for the warm welcome. This simulation certainly has a steep learning curve. Wow. This is an awesome community. I’ve searched around but am having trouble finding the right key file for my TH T. Flight HOTAS X. I’m not even sure if TARGET works with this stick or is TARGET just tied to the Key file.
Once again thanks for all the help!
-
My only pleasure, Carswell.
About your HOTAS questions… may I assume that you already tried to ask a specific question in those Thrustmaster and/or Technical Support forums here?
With best regards.
-
Yes No response I am starting to believe that TARGET will not work with my cheap TM stick. I am currently trying to find a decent Key file to mooch off someone and then try to make it my own with changes being made in game setup for the HOTAS. Im having a hell of a time trying to use guns and
POV with the hat. Everytime I start an easy instant action mission the first things I check are guns and POV and I can never get them to work. I’m just missing something in my sequence. I’ve read so many posts and manuals that its all one big mess in my head, Ahhhh. I know it will take time and I have plenty of time. -
Well, dear Carswell… if even modifying manually the keyfile on your own requirements can’t save the day, I guess I’d better to wish you a lot of patience and good luck, then.
Please feel free to ask anything anywhere to anyone. It’s the main rule here, you know.
With best regards.
