Programming Cougar curve sensitivity by AAR button S1
-
Hi guys,
In the FCC manual by Arend “White Eagle” Van Oosten, I found it was possible to program the S1 (AAR) button so that it changes the Cougar curve to less sensitive.
The code back then (I’m talking 2007) was by Olivier “Red Dog” Beaumont:BTN S1 /U /I Enable_NWS
/O Select_AA
/M /I /T Refuelling_door CURVE (JOYSTICK, 5) /T Refuelling_door CURVE (JOYSTICK, 11)
/O Enable_NWS
/D /I bomb_mode
/O Select_AGIf I would want to reduce stick sensitivity when AA refueling, I would like something like this, but obviously now, in 4.34 the refueling door is shifted Dx so I guess the code must be different? Any Cougar programming guru that can help?
Thx!

1. This was done prior to having FLCS gain changed upon AAR door opening, therefore be aware that what was done by joystick curve is now done by internal BMS coding.
2. if you still want to change curves for AAR, it is perfectly possible with the above, the DX shifted is not exclusive and can be callbacks as well. Nobody can force you to use an all DX file if you don’t want it.
Just look for the appropriate callback and assign it as the relevant macro in the above TMJ/TMM file -
Thanks!

Hi Red Dog,
As I’m a total nOOb when it comes to Foxy, can you suggest a simple TMJ/TMM file that would reduce the joystick curve when the refuel door is opened (DX shifted S3).
Thx!
