Hello there, janjan.
Have you already tried to seeking around the Saitek sub-forum, and you found nothing useful out?
With best regards.

yes i have and i could not find Logitech profile for the x56.
There is a saitek pone for bms4.33, not Logitech and not 4.34.
I do not want to load a profile which is not suitable and may cause problems later on. -
Janjan hi,
If you are planning to use the profiles made in Saitek profiler, you can use them in the Logitech software as well since the only thing that changed was the name of the software AFAIK.
In my view it’s generally more safe to go with the DX keyfiles. Here is the profile I use for 4.34 at the moment, feel free to test it or use it as a base to create your own.

You can also go to my original profile for 4.33 in case you also want to use the info. I’m also adding the link to the relevant post.

Thanks,
I really must use the Saitek profile since i found no Logitech ones but if you say they are the same i will try yours. What about the profiles which come with BMS 4.34 in the \Docs\01 Input DEvices ?
Will any of them do for the x56?Thank you.

I noticed that you did not assign the rotary knobs on the throttle.
Can you assign them?Dan

No, not really. I’m not sure but the closest would be X55 I think. The only difference between X55 and X56 is the thumb axis on the joystick. Whereas the the thumb thingie is a button on X55, it was replaced by a ministick on X56.

Hi,
Since rotary knobs are axises it can be programmed within “BMS / Setup/ Controllers / Advanced” page or within “Devicedefaults.txt”
Checked “Devicedefaults.txt” and everything seems in order. (Details below) But if that does not work for you, try programming one knob for “Radar Range Knob” and the other for “Antenna Elevation” inside BMS. By the way, the axis definitions also fails for me sometimes (God knows why… ) and I also program it inside BMS when that happens…
Best regards and happy landings.
