Although the TE was very basic
      I fought 8 MIG29s
      (There was a 9th)
I am out of everything guns, sidewinders and fuel is low.
I turn to base @45nm and at about 30ish my RWR starts screeming the last mig on my six (bead of sweat + forehead) bingo fuel starts blinking im at 1300ibs +/-
At the run way plane shuts down cockpit goes black and NO EPU (facepalm) im coming in fast had to pull a few S menuevers and coming in at a nasty AOA pull up grab a very smooth landing and coast right to taxi area.

      Request recharge jfs
      Request hotpit refuel
Got it started back up and taxied to ramp. Haha!

Every reason for me to have burned and got it home was the most satisfying memory I have with this sim.

Still not sure why my EPU didnt kick on ?.
(Yes I pulled the pin at ramp start)

        8 migs? Nice!
If you were able to steer the airplane then the EPU must have been on.
Without it you wouldn`t have the hydraulic pressure and eject.

To clarify not 8 migs at once lol.
I have a TE set up where they take off one at a time every 2 minutes. If I get stuck fighting one too long I will get swarmed.
I actually correctes my self the other night the EPU did work for flight control but for some reason didnt illuminate the HUD ,or MFDs which I thought it did.

It doesn’t do that, EPU only powers the most critical systems, which does not include the HUD or MFDs. It’s meant to keep you in the air, not in the fight.
