that is easy to check , with MC open your save and check those squadrons haw many planes are left … IIRC there are 3 or 4 AWACS per squadron , don’t know about tankers, but if number is reduced then all is ok …
But eventually , squadron will get re-supplied , IF there are enough supply points … if you’re loosing the war … you don’t have points etc… when squadron loose last plane … I think it is deleted , someone correct me if I’m mistaken -

Right! … I don’t understand … which side are you fighting on North Korea? … the save says “U.S. 35th F-16CM-40 Kunsan Airbase (4300)” , … but from post above … you were shooting on US Awacs (E-2)
It means , you’re communist… OK… Jokes aside , Well , you couldn’t shoot on E-2 because they enter the arena on Day 3 or so … so you weren’t shooting on them … actually whole US carrier comes on day 3 - SPOILER ALERT
You were shooting on something else … E-3 Awacs perhaps ? ,… They seems being used … but there’s a catch , THEY HAVE NO BASE … HA!!! … Also tankers KC-135…
see pic - the airbase says nowhere(offmap)
I’m afraid I can’t tell how and why , . Why they didn’t reduce their numbers , but it “may be” because those OFFSCREEN squadrons simulate “infinite” (or large) number of planes available, as would one expect from one of the biggest forces…
They may simulate the forces from Hawaii , which is too far to be displayed on map. - but why they didn’t reduce their numbers… Well that may be because they have enormous REINFORCE points , so , … You can’t win them in AIR WAR … but , … just keep fighting and keep occupying land mass and strategic cities …
Dude, you’re still on Day 1 14:00hr … there’s plenty of war for you… You can’t win Superforce … just like that … War has even NOT YET begun…
Keep playing
Cheers

Hi white_fang !
The file i sent you is “Save-Day 14 16 41 30.cam” not Day 1 14:00, please recheck it. The is a campaign base on the origial TVT campaign. Both side has F-16 SQ. We (south side) shot down 2 tankers and 1 E-2C by now.
Maybe “offmap” is the reason why they didn’t reduce their numbers. i will relocate them to the “onmap” airbase to see how. Thanks for your help!

Aaaah… Sorry mate , I was looking at the wrong file … so it didn’t make sense.
Ok now ,… Yes, YELLOWFOR E-2 and KC squadrons from Vinson aren’t reduced . , but F-18 squadrons are . so attrition works. So that could mean that those squadrons are crucial and have priority when re-supplying/replacing destroyed units.
So NO - It is not OFFMAP squadron problem. So don’t go that way.
I CAN"T say with 100% ,… but yes, it could be supply/reinforcements/replacements “problem” - it’s not a real problem , as things work as they should , but it is somewhat hard to achieve positive results , … it is hard campaign.
Look:
Team Nato is not committed to an active fight and their resources levels are holding , Replacements number … so no units are being destroyed., and therefore they don’t need replacement.
But team YELLOWFOR , your opponent , has Replacements number to a 0 … it means they spend them on regular basis, when you destroy their units, so no replacements for them “in the bank” …
BUT… that number will rise according to SUPPLY levels , which are enormous , more then >8k … yours, GREENFOR is about ~2.5k
… so, that means that YELLOWFOR Replacements will rise cca 3.5x times more then GREENFOR…SO, there’s nothing wrong, it is just STRATEGIC aspect of Falcon , … you cut their supply line… destroying factories, powerplants, depos, … and that Supply number will reduce , as factories without power can’t work … etc…
Yes… you need some Strategic strikes to deplete their resources , … but is long time … as they have 8k “in the bank” , and constantly producing more and more … SO it is a long war that way.
So there are 2 options in Falcon . Long war - depleting enemy resources and , short(er) war - achieving Priority objectives … roll the tanks into their capital city …
As Falcon primarily being a flight sim , you’re not committed to a ground war , but to support that ground war … so helping your ground forces to have “initiative” in occupation of key strategic objectives.
- ground forces can’t advance if the enemy has total air supremacy and are being under airstrikes few times a day , can they ?
All is ok … Welcome to the next level in Falcon BMS - Strategic strikes
Cheers
