X56 Rhino ministick as buttons (bands)?
-
I have been using a X52 now X65 on both I didn’t use SST at all. I reordered the Axis in registry as I don’t need the twist rudder axis. With that you would be able to adding ministick as Cursor X/Y axis which way better and more precise than setting them up as bands

Thanks! As far as mapping, I didn’t have a set plan for them yet until I found out a way for them to actually be used. I like that speed brake idea you did. What is SST that you mentioned?

Cursor x/y as in radar cursor? That would be the ticket for one of them! How did you “reorder the axis in the registry”?

SST is the usual Term in Saitek/Logitech Joystick world for the programming Software for the stick

I think I’m all straightened out. Got the throttle mini as radar cursor and the stick mini as brake/hudbrightness. I feel like a moron as I didn’t know it could be done right in the UI. Never even clicked on the avi tab until now. Haha. Thanks for the help. Your time is appreciated!

I figured I’d share the mini-stick mapping I have configured in the X56 HOTAS application:
Note that the “Untitled” advanced commands are simply performing the (keyboard) key-strokes used in BMS to fire/manage countermeasures.

Hello, mate.
Thanks for sharing your experience, but wouldn’t you mind to repost the image?
I’d like it, but I couldn’t see it this way.
With best regards.

Should look something like this.
If the band command are not setup as advanced command with propper press and release order you risk of having floating cursor
