NEW IFF IMPLEMENTATION BUG REPORT
-
I have noticed that on the new AUX COM panel in earlier F16 variants ie not blocks 50/52 etc the M4 CODE switch appears to be reversed in the 3D pit.
By this I mean a left mouse click moves it down and right mouse moves it up. This is opposite to the way other switches behave and it causes my Helios profile to apply the wrong action for a correct callback. It is correctly implemented on the IFF panel of later F16`s.
Also on the same AUX COM panel I notice that the MODE4 REPLY switch does not respond to either mouse clicks, is this because it is not implemented.
I cannot find any reference to this being the case.I would appreciate early guidance on these problems so I can remove the workaround in my Helios profile.

Still don’t understand it but I am an atheist , perhaps that’s why? -
I think it’s hit or miss if they see it and even hittier and missier to get a response. I filed a bug report a couple of weeks ago and nada. So…
I’m not sure how much time goes into tracking down bugs. Since they are all volunteers maybe they aren’t in the mood to chase after code this month? I don’t know but it would be really nice if they had someone just acknowledge it’s on the todo list.

Still don’t understand it but I am an atheist , perhaps that’s why?Up ‘til quite recently, I was a pretty active member of the Dev group. Quite often I couldn’t get answers to bug reports and other questions I had in relation to new stuff I worked on. I got so frustrated by the lack of feedback and being ignored I decided to call time on it.
What am trying to say is, don’t take it personal. Shouting about it (as implied by your full caps post earlier) won’t make an ounce of difference.

We are buisy with rl professional and personal life. A lot of differen s things to deal with for dev. Sometimes we don’t visit the forum during several day and can miss of forget some posts threads or report. So just gently bump it sometimes and IF we have something to say we will say something.
Thanks for comprehension.
