Why does the F-18 have it's own Keybinds/Callbacks?

Two questions:
1. Why does the F-18 have it’s own keybinds/callbacks for flaps?
i.e. Why is
F-18 Flap Down [Shift]+[F11] separate from [Ctrl]+[F11]
F-18 Flap Up [Shift]+[F12] separate from [Ctrl]+[F12]2. What do these do?
F-18 T/O Trim [Ctrl]+[Shift]+[Alt]+ - is this just for catapault launches or all takeoffs?
F-18 Throttle ATC [Ctrl]+[Shift]+[Alt]+[A]
F-18 FCS Tog [Ctrl]+[Shift]+[Alt]+[G]
F-18 LBar Tog [Ctrl]+[Shift]+[Alt]+[L]Thanks gents!

1. Why does the F-18 have it’s own keybinds/callbacks for flaps?
Because the Hornet’s flaps operate differently and are controlled differently by the FCS.
While in the Falcon they are operated by the FLCS and manually used only in emergencies, in the Hornet they are operated manually with the FCS supervision regarding speeds.2. What do these do?
F-18 T/O Trim [Ctrl]+[Shift]+[Alt]+ - is this just for catapault launches or all takeoffs?
F-18 Throttle ATC [Ctrl]+[Shift]+[Alt]+[A]
F-18 FCS Tog [Ctrl]+[Shift]+[Alt]+[G]
F-18 LBar Tog [Ctrl]+[Shift]+[Alt]+[L]T/O trim is always used for T/O.
On land 12°.
At sea 16°-19°.Throttle ATC is A/P throttle the Hornet uses as an addition to flight control surfaces.
LBar…just as the name says…the thingy that attaches the aircraft to the catapult.
In short…different systems or same systems that operate differently…hence different callbacks.

As for why it’s only the Hornet that has them, that’s because it’s the only aircraft, besides the Viper, to get serious consideration for its avionics. It’s nowhere near the Viper, but it’s a bit different, unlike the other aircraft.

not really
we are talking about Flight model specificities.
F18 has indeed a DEDICATED FLCS, not pretending beeing the real, but it has been developped to mimic the real the best we could
-
AV8 has also a dedicated AFM with dedicated callbacks as well.
-
SU33 has also a dedicated AFM

A-10? I always thought it was the first AC that got AFM…

Thanks everyone. Well this puts a bit of hitch in my universal panel/button box.
I guess I can carve out a space (subpanel) to handle specific AFM callbacks, maybe have a rocker that cycles through the different AFM specific aircraft functions.
But F-18 and AV8 VTOL are the only ones with special callbacks that I’m aware of. I’ve looked at the full callback list and not seeing anything further?
The idea behind the universal panel was to make it so the switches are always marked the same and in the same place no matter what A/C you are flying. HERESY I KNOW!!! But a vandal has to be vandalish from time to time.

A10 is not AFM, it is NFBW aircraft
This is more a demonstrator of the NFBW code rather than a real modelisation
