Mirage 2000-9 : skin and TGP issues

Hi all,
I’m posting this thread because I’ve some little problems flying the Mirage 2000-9 .
I’m using FBMS 4.34.3.

The skin of the 2000-9 seems to be incomplete (‘black holes’ on the fuselage) . It’s an issues I can live with with no problem as I only fly in VC cockpit .

the 2nd issue is a real one : For some reasons when I select the 2000-9 , I can’t have the TGP working … If I replace the 2000-9 by a 2000-5(who’s basically the same plane, but mainly for AA purposes) , all is working fine, so I think the issue is not related to the pit in itself .

If I try to put a 2000-9 pit in another plane(I tried with a Mirage F1) , it’s the same, the TGP won’t work : The MFD shows" TGP OFF" , but there’s no “Standby” button to put it on .
It’s almost as if the pod(I tried with ATLIS 2 and Damocles, same results) is deconnected of the plane on the 2000-9 .I tried to relpace the “2000-9” pit by an M2k-D as an ultimate test : TGP won’t work ; so I definitely think the issue is tied to the Mirage 2000-9 in itself .
So now, here my questions :
1/How to definitively add a pod to a plane ?
I already tried and had some success , but it was by “empiric” testing, so I don’t know the good way to do it again and I’m currently unable to redo it . The idea behind that is I wan’t to place a Damocles POD on an Mirage EGM(I don’t know why, but it doesn’t have one when I select him, whereas I can select BGL … strange , but it often happens , so the answer will permit me to correct a number of planes) to recreate a Mirage Laser-Bombing capable (as is the 2000-9)
2/ Why is the TGP not working on the 2000-9 ?
Help will be greatly appreciated, as it will make me a little step forward in the art of correcting/modifying my aircraft by my own .

you would need to go in Data\Sim\Acdata, in the mirage2k9.dat, search for the section:
#----------------------------------------------------- # TGP #----------------------------------------------------- #Switch: 0 - No TGP, 1 - Internal TGP, 2 - External TGP
and set the parameter to 2.
Careful in MP as you might not be able to get in servers that enforce default data files.
I don’t know if this is to be fixed in the next update.

thinking twice about it, good question. TGP is on 0 for 2000D too I just saw, but I can load any pod without problem, so I’m wondering why lolo wasn’t able to do so in the -9?
EDIT: I got the reading wrong (read the comment instead of the actual TGP_Type parameter).
TGP_Type is indeed on 2 for 2000D and 0 on 2000-9 per default files. So I believe the -9 should be 2 too, since it can get the Damocles/Shebab TGP in the loadout (as intended). -
I can load any pod without problem
I could load the pod, but I was unable to power it on on the MFD.
Setting the TGP to 2 did the trick .-EDIT- So to fix the problem , BMS only has to update the Acdata of the 2000-9 with TGP on 2 ?

Setting the TGP to 2 did the trick .Yes, I was referrencing to the 2000D (which I incorrectly thought had the TGP_Type to 0, but is actually at 2 by default). So I believe -9 would need to be at 2 by default too.

I just added a Jaguar GR3 in my squadron ; it carries a SNIPER pod(unavailable at this moment of the War; I mean it’s “red” , I can’t even load it on the plane ) . What is it if I want to replace the SNIPER by an ATLIS pod to make it closer from the JAGUAR A ? And how to make it available or not ?
- Just to know : I can’t find the JAGUAR A (the French variant) any more ? No JAGUAR A in 4.34.3 ? I used to fly it with 4.34.2

AFAIK the Jaguar depicted in BMS was always a RAF Jaguar.
You can add a loadout to an aircraft in the Editor (from the BMS launcher)/Weapons/Hardpoint. But here again beware re: MP compatibility.
You can edit stores availability in a campaign with the software Mission Commander. -

There , I must disagree , as I flew the French variant very often in “Desert Storm”,along with a M2K-C at Al Ahsa AB , to simulate the French Airforce supporting the Division Daguet . That plane used to wear Brown/orange camouflage , and couldn’t wear missiles above the wings . It was the plane u could see at the loading screen -EDIT- : At the “Tactical Reference” screen ! And u could choose ATLIS-2 pod .
I noticed it disappeared since I moved to 4.34 U3

Kuwait TO,operation"Desert Storm" but I could fly the JAGUAR A anywhere using MC (I tried it once in Somalia TO too) . Btw , if I remember well it was called “SEPECAT Jaguar” (but maybe I’m mistaken on this point)

thanks to your help, I succeeded to replace the SNIPER by the ATLIS pod, but the last point still resist to me ; I change the values in “stores” (from 0 pod to 50 pods) but when i push “Apply” button , all is erased(so no change in the weapon loading screen , the ATLIS-2 is there now but still in red color) . If I only change the values without applying, same result .
What am I missing ?

Use the +1 or +10 buttons in Falcon editor weapons/squadron store/(your jet).Don’t type it in manually.
It’s red because plane has it on hard point but not stores.
Once you get this done, you will also have to hit “resupply “(units/squadrons/(your squadron)/resupply button) with mission commander in any campaign this jet is in for it to reload squadron stores to campaign.This mission commander resupply step won’t be necessary next time you add a new squadron, but if it already has your squadron, it is going by old unedited squadron stores (no new pod)
